Good lens, good image quality, great build.
Very good lens for low light shooting, image quality is good wide open at f 0.95, depth of field is very shallow, you have to focus perfectly else your subject gets blurrybuild quality is amazing, all metal build, front lens cap is also metal.Price is bit high on amazon, and you dont get the leather case as shown in many youtube reviews, still good enough lens for price.

Solid cheap lens
I use this with my Fujifilm x-pro1. Lens is sharp. It's built well and sturdy. The f0.95 aperture is a bonus. The magnetic lens cap is satisfying to put on 😁.

One of the most Creative lens you can purchase
Forget about Sony or Canon lenses, they are over rated, get yourself Sigma or 7Artisan lenses with good budget cost, similar performance and more creativity. This lens offers variety of creative shots preferable for Product photography, miniature and portraitures, however it's not that easy to use due to complete manual control.

Fast, cheap, fun.
I bought this lens 8 months ago, and felt compelled enough to come back and write a review. As long as you know what you're getting into - this is a wonderful piece of kit and well worth the money!I've found this lens very useful, and it has become one of my go-to lenses that I take out very often. I find it a great lens for three types of applications: night-time street photography, indoor/low-light portraits, and close-up still life photos (without requiring a dedicated macro lens). It provides fantastic background blur, soft and smooth bokeh, and great colour vibrance (leaning towards greens). This is a traditional, manual lens - it has no autofocus or electronics of any kind, and while it's easy to use, it does take a bit of skill and experience to get good results out of. The build quality of the lens is great, it's quite heavy for its size and the housing is completely metal, so it feels very solid. Overall it's easy to use although I do find the (completely clickless, smooth) aperture ring to be a bit too easy to unintentionally move while focusing (which is easy to get used to checking). Is it as sharp as other lenses in bright lighting conditions? No, although it compares well to many vintage lenses. It can produce interesting flares, but they can definitely be too much in many light conditions. In low light, however, this lense's images are very pleasant, and it is absolutely sharp enough for most applications there.Does it make it possible to do hand-held night-time photography? Yes, absolutely. You will have to bump up the ISO a bit (to the 1600-3200 range), but you can definitely create great shots - without any need for a tripod or stabilization, even in very dark conditions. Is it as fast as advertised? Possibly, possibly not - I've seen some reports that its low-light performance is more what you'd expect in the f/1-1.15 range. Nevertheless, this is still easily the fastest crop-sensor lens you can get for this kind of money. For best results, you will definitely need to do a bit of post-processing with images from this lens - sharpening them up, denoising them for even more smoothness, and tweaking the colours to remove the lense's bias towards green definitely helps. However, the results are outstanding. So, would I recommend this lens? Absolutely. Above all, it can really open up the world of easy, hand-held, low-light photography to anyone, even on a low budget.

Ottima lente
L’obiettivo è solido e ben fatto. Molto luminoso e con la regolazione del fuoco e del diaframma molto fluidi. Non ho messo 5 stelle solo per il fatto che si deve forzare un po’ per far entrare l’ottica sulla camera.

Great lens for the price, extremely fun and surprisingly sharp
For a $250 lens ($200 less than the mitakon competitor which seems almost identical from my research) this is phenomenal. The quality of construction is extremely high, and the lens is very sharp on my fuji X-T4. Easily the most fun lens to shoot with, the depth of field is so beautiful. Definitely enable zebras and focus peaking to make sure you nail the focus because it's very easy to be slightly off due to such a shallow band at f0.95. Technically I believe the lens is more like T1.0 but it's certainly fast enough.Only complaint is the cap is held on very snug with felt (beautiful machining) but it doesn't work with a UV filter or anything on top of it, which is a bit of a bummer. Just slides right off. Also doesn't come with a lens hood and the lens flare is a bit much looking straight at the sun but you can buy plenty of third party 52mm lens hoods with the money you saved from the mitakon.Aperture wheel should probably be clicked as well or at least have more resistance, it's very easy to adjust it by accident while shooting. But for video if you need to change aperture mid shot it's all mechanical and smooth (unlike for example the viltrox 23mm 1.4 which is clickless as well but doesn't directly translate and is still adjusted in stops). Vignetting and chromatic aberration are there but those can be removed in post. Sharpness is phenomenal even wide open, zooming in to 200% even with the X-T4's 6 megapixels it still looks solid. Corners aren't as sharp but shooting wide open you aren't really looking for full photo sharpness most of the time as the depth of field is the main goal. All around very fun lens to use, not as good picture quality as my 16-80 F4 but that lens costs $800 and isn't nearly as fast and fun to use. This thing is so small and easy to shoot with it's my new default most of the time, besides video handheld where the stabilization of 16-80 is crucial.
