Fiskars 1-Piece 12-inch SureCut Deluxe Paper Trimmer

Arrived yesterday and already used.My initial thoughts for the price does the job well. The extendable swing out ruler is initially a bit stiff but after a few uses moves easier.The cutting blade is efficient neat accurate cuts, hopefully the cutting edge will be replaceable when it wears out though seems to be built for durability. This is only a square cutting machine which suits my need.For home use would recommend though if you were to be doing a significant amount of continuous cutting would be worth paying out for a more substantial cutter.

Love this paper trimmer, love that the lines go right from top to bottom, well made, pity about the blades, they do not last very long.

This trimmer is perfect for planning and scrapbooking. It's pretty accurate. It is a little plasticky but more durable than some on the market. This is my second one in 10 years.

I love the size of the base plate on this trimmer - perfect for quickly cutting small projects as you don't need to open the extending arm. Base nicely marked out with standard card sizes - and the guide wire keeps my cuts lovely and straight.

What a great product this is. I've had a few but no way near has good as this one. It has a great grid with easy to aline your paper and cut with pricision

Have been wanting this trimmer for ages, so pleased with it!!!!! Highly recommend to other papercrafters as it cuts as well as scores if you buy the scorer/blade pack too.

I bought this to replace my old trimmer, and it exceeded my expectations. The cuts were accurate and clean, with no frayed edges, when using the guideline.

This may be a long winded review for a simple item, but I feel it appropriate because of the extremely high level of satisfaction I have with it.Originally purchased Dec 17, 2012, (Yes, almost 10 years ago!) I initially bought it for a project I was planning involving printing 75 candy bar wrappers for my niece's sweet 16 birthday party. The cut was always very accurate thanks to the guide wire on the slide for the blade. Had to actually trim 4 sides of each page I cut as I printed the wrappers two per page. I went ahead and bought a pair of replacement blades with it, which are now lost due to the fact that I only now need to replace that part! I also used it to cut another 75 wrappers for another niece's sweet 16. I've used it many times over the years to cut laminated pictures, and various other small projects. Always with great results. Sometimes I had issues with it leaving behind shavings of paper, or not cutting all the way through because I tried to cut too many sheets at one time. I used it to cut labels for 100 party favor jars for my sister in law's 50th birthday. That was on thick adhesive label paper. (One at a time.) Also did 100 candy bar wrappers for that event as well as over 100 invites on copy paper. I used it in 2019 to cut save the date cards for my wedding, (on card stock which I was able to cut cleanly 2 at a time for 150 cards, again 2 per page) and the wedding invitations, and thank you cards. Approximately 125 for each item. Oh, and I also did candy bar wrappers for my wedding as well. :-)I now use it every month or so to cut service tickets and sale order requisitions for my job. It is still going strong, save for the fact that over the years my heavy handedness has actually worn out the tabs that keep the blade in place as I use the cutter. I now need to keep the blade in place with a piece of tape in storage because it will simple lift out of the track anywhere on the slide due to extreme wear. (Until the replacement blades I just ordered come anyway.) The track itself is also showing signs of wear, and again I attribute that to my own ham hands. I do tend to use what is probably too much pressure, and make two passes to ensure a clean cut.If you're still reading, I decided to post this review because I am happy to see that others who have purchased this item recently are also very happy with it. And I was surprised that it is actually still in production.I recommend this item highly!

It does the job but still for what it costs I would now search and something like this and would definitely but something else. For this price i am sure there is an other product that does the job better and you don’t have to reorder the cutting items after just cutting 30 papers.

Such a boon to have this around while working on paper crafts. Highly recommended.
