1of my top 3 freeze dried breakfasts
Mountain House brand is one of if not the top brand for all around good freeze dried meals. This is a great one and a welcome change over egg based freeze dried means or instant oatmeal.

I heard my frogs (inside joke)
This meal is great for backpacking. Light weight, and great for storage. Works well even in situations when water could not be heated up.

Tastes good but too salty
The flavor was good and it was easy to cook. Too salty though.

Super Tasty but Super Pricey
The taste is pretty good. Add hot water, zip the pouch, and let it sit for 10 minutes. Everything reconstitutes for the most part. The issue I have is the price of all of Mountain House meals. Who can afford to buy these things? Not cool to gouge the customers who made your brand what it is. Not going to purchase, until the prices are dropped.

"Stir" means really stir it when you do it
I really enjoyed this Biscuits and Gravy as easy morning breakfast camping food to fuel the aerobic activities of the next hours. I ended up having a few not-fully-hydrated chunks, like others have stated, but I'm leaning on that being that I gently stirred the package instead of really trying to 'mix' and stir the package the two (IIRC) times the instructions said to stir it. I'm thinking that by 'stir' it means 'mix' which would break up and open up the biscuits to being better hydrated. Perhaps allowing an extra two minutes of soaking before serving would have helped as well (or instead).Anyway, yes - I will buy it again to try it another time (that's how tasty it was to have in the morning).

This was surprising good
This was really good and actually tasted like biscuits and gravy. This “biscuits” are cut up into cubes but the flavor is really good. Highly recommend for camping or emergency food supply.

Please read entire review, 50 less calories from the last "generation" product.
I love Mountain House foods. I actually eat them periodically, not just buying to keep my family prepared. There is 50 less calories from the last generation of this product. However actually reading the ingredients list in hand, I realized they removed textured vegetable protein and other unnecessary ingredients. For all the comments bashing this company about portion sizes and prices. Please keep in mind that they have to use a lot of energy to produce this food. Which is inflating in a crazy way. Not only is energy inflating, Food prices are inflating at a crazy rate. Oats in particular have risen 150% or there about in the 12 months.I wish this company the best as they provide an EXPENSIVE service/product that should be considered an investment. If for some reason there is no need for backup food in lets say 10 years. But food prices have increased 5 times. This will begin to look very very cheap. And yes its definitely good enough to eat as regular meals.
