These are very nice for the price. They are a larger mug and being double walled you can grab the actual cup and not just the handle even when the beverage is at its hottest temp. Holds heat well. You would expect a much thicker cup/mug for how insulated they are.

I originally had purchased some cheap latte stoneware cups at Target thinking that a cup is just a cup and it didn't really matter much. Boy... was I wrong! After spending significant time making cafe lattes in the morning, I kept noticing that my lattes would get cold very quickly. It was incredibly frustrating. I soon realized my cheap Target cups were just radiating heat. You could feel all the heat loss on the outside of the cup. So, I did some research online and saw that these Bodum cups were highly rated by many users. And although they were significantly more expensive than my cheap cups, I gave them a try. All I can say is... Wow! These are a total game changer! Night and day. My lattes stay hot for an incredibly long time. Even when I'm close to finishing the drink, with very little coffee at the bottom of the cup, it's still hot. And the telltale sign is that you don't feel heat radiation on the outside of these cups. The double wall keeps the liquid hot for a very long time. The manufacturing quality of these cups is very good. They are made from borosilicate glass which is much more durable glass. It is the same glass used in medical grade flasks and beakers. Apparently even Pyrex used to make their measuring cups out of this more durable glass until they decided to cut costs and go with a cheaper glass (borosilicate glass is more expensive). But, these cups are definitely worth the extra cost!... In this case you get what you pay for. However, as with any glass cup, I'm sure they can break if you get too rough with them or put them in the dishwasher next to/touching other glasses. For that reason I always hand wash mine. Also, Bodum recommends that you don't use metal spoons with them (prevents them from cracking/breaking). So, I picked up a box of plastic spoons at Costco to use with them. You can also find small wooden spoons on Amazon that I'm sure would work well too. Again, these are after all made of glass (even if it is a much stronger glass) and glass can break. But as long as you don't get too rough with them and don't stack them on other dishes in the dishwasher, they should last a very long time. Excellent cups!!

Beautiful insulated mug that fits my large hand comfortably. No issue with seal leaking. Really appreciate the heat retention and clarity of the glass. We prefer to wash it by hand. Only time one broke was after I dropped it in the sink but that was after four years. Purchased several for gifts to friends and they raved about them.

It's the perfect size for coffee, matcha lattes, or any drink! However, it breaks very easily—I accidentally pushed it into the sink drain hole, and it shattered instantly. Pros: - Looks great - Keeps drinks hot or cold - Double insulated, yet easy to drink from Cons: - Scratches very easily - Can break easily depending on where it’s accidentally hit - Moisture can build up inside due to the bottom silicone cap - Compare to metal insulated cups, it does not keep the temperature well If you're looking for a nice coffee cup, this is the one! Just be careful when handling it—it’s quite fragile. Other than that, I use it every day and absolutely love it.

These glasses are great! I can't believe I had an espresso machine without owning these glasses. Pros: Great quality Aesthetically great Keeps drink hot for a long time Cool to the touch on the outside Feels nice on your lips while drinking Cons: Price (but you get what you pay for) Feels very light (You get used to it though) Must wash by hand if you don't want to get a film inside I use these whenever I make lattes or cappuccinos and they're perfect! I had a friend come over who tried one of the drinks from these glasses and they loved it. They said it was better than the ones that they made at home. They put too much milk in theirs at home and this cup prevents that. It makes the perfect drink every time. It looks amazing and everyone is impressed when I serve their drink in one of these glasses. Although they are pricey for a set of two, it is well worth the money. It really improves your cafe experience!

Much better quality than cheaper double-wall mugs. Fits in the espresso machine. It's a bit more expensive than some other double-wall mugs, but many of the cheaper ones are not dishwasher-safe. I have two friends who actually cracked such mugs from the hot water in the dishwasher. What's the point of having coffee mugs that you have to hand-wash? These have silicon membrane in the bottom to breathe, so the expanding air inside won't crack the glass. Also the borosilicate glass is strong enough to withstand temperature changes. At least so far so good - we've used the 4 mugs for a few weeks, dishwashing them almost every day, and so far no cracks. They keep the coffee hot really well and the size is huge, just like I like it, while they still fit under the espresso machine nozzle. Worth the money I think. Unlike the cheaper versions that crack and have to be hand-washed. Update: It's almost 2 years since I bought 4 mugs. They are still all intact, despite dishwasher working on them almost every night. We use them every day. So still 5-star... I think when they go - it's because we break them, not because they wear down... It's already longer than most mugs last in out house :-)
