I can confirm our bottles are BPA free.

Why is the tablet now powder before it was gel?

The manufacturer would need to answer why they changed the formulation. I have only had the powdered tablets. However, they are very small and only have a 7 mm in diameter, much smaller than other tablets that you might take. See comparison with a UK five pence piece in picture.
