These roller wheels are a big improvement over the stock casters on my office chair. They roll smoothly, make almost no noise, and I don’t have to worry about scratches on my hardwood floors. Installation was fast and simple—just pulled the old ones out and snapped these in. The only downside is that they add a little extra height to the chair, so if you’re already at the top end of your desk setup you might notice the difference. Otherwise, they make the chair feel much smoother and easier to move around, and I’d still recommend them.

Very smooth--so smooth it doesn't take much to start rolling unintentionally. Significantly better than the all-plastic wheels that came with the office chair. Has no problem rolling over floor mat. Would be nice if manufacturers installed such wheels at factory. My chair made installation easy, but don't think the wheel had much to do with this--it is the chair. The wheels do sit a little higher than the originals. I lowered my chair some to compensate for the increased size but can still get it under the keyboard tray on my desk. Height is something to consider. Only had them for a couple months so cannot speak to longevity.

Purchased these wheels for my wife's home office chair to protect our laminate floors from scratches. These wheels work awesome!!! They roll super smooth and do not pick up dirt or debris like the original double wheel plastic wheels that come with most chairs. I will buy them again in the future.

These cost a little less but looked like the others I bought from different seller. Unfortunately, it is not as smooth as it should be soon after using if you plan to use the chair like a rolling lab chair or need it to do work in the kitchen if you can't stand. One wheel seems to snag on the vinyl tile on the floor so if you are not careful, the snagging can cause you to fall out of a slippery chair, like the tractor style I use, if you don't have arms on the chair. It only takes the one wheel snagging to prevent smooth rolling, especially when moving trays and bowls around a kitchen. I did try some silicone spray on the wheels and it helped a little bit but seems to be going back to snagging on the one wheel.

I didn't check the existing wheel stems on my new $300 chair bought locally so I tried to cancel this item just 8 minutes after noticing that while the ad page states fits most chairs, that doesn't actually men it will fit your chair. So make sure to measure your chairs caster wheel stems or be prepared to refund if their not the same. However, I'm pleased to say that they do fit my chair. The chair now glides around on carpet, linoleum and hard wood floors in our home like Ginger Rodgers dancing with Fred Astaire. They're smooth, their quiet and they actually look great with the clear rubber/urethane (whatever the material is) caster wheels and the beautiful caster rims that have hollow sections when looking at them closely. Of course nobody is coming to my house to admire Ms. Rodgers casters in my home office, but I know what they look like and most importantly how they act on my flooring. So, as of first install, they're as nice as my partners Tina Louise (Gilligan's Islands Ginger Grant) caster wheels (his wheels are orange color) that he paid roughly $36 for the 5 of them about a year ago. As of right now, I can definitely recommend them as long as you can handle the extra height because they will raise the height of your chair. For me that's not an issue as my chair was already raised to about half height so I lowered my chairs post about 1/2 to 1 inch and now it's sitting at the same height it was with its original caster wheels. P.S. No they don't lock in place but then again I've never owned a modern office chair that you can lock the casters in place other than a work chair that is extra tall so you can sit in front of a work counter that's about 4 1/2 feet high and used for safety but nobody at my work ever locked their chair wheels but if you need to lock your chairs wheels then these are not for you but if you want free flowing wheels give these beauties a try.

These office chair wheels seem like they're built very well. I got them specifically because I have carpet and the stock wheels really dig in and already took out a few chunks of the carpet. These glide so easily that I nearly slide off the chair when I sat down for the first time. Sat kinda hard and it just slide back on the carpet faster than I'm used to lol. Since I have carpet I can't test the noise level in my room but I'm going to assume these are much quieter on harder flooring since they are not plastic like my old wheels. They're some kind of rubber but don't quote me on that, basically softer material than hard plastic. They should save your flooring and/or carpet from damage. Installed in less than 5 minutes, Check my video how easy it was and I did it with one hand while recording with the other. I can't speak on the longevity of these since I just got them but if I have any issues I will come back and report. Thanks

I love these for my computer chair. Rolls/glides way better than the normal ones that come with it.

Great wheels, very sturdy, easy to install on a completly random chair, they roll very well.

way better than i was expecting. theyre completely silent as opposed to the plastic wheels my chair came with. they have nice and smooth rolling, easy to install, the only downside i can think of is that it can get a little wonky if the wheels have to turn around 180 degrees, but of course thats just what happens with single wheels.

I used to have those default plastic wheels. They used to make a weird "krrrrr" sound when you would drag the chair across the room or even sit on it and try to move. Not this set. It is like sliding on a Slip 'N Slide. These things ROLL! Somebody in another review said that it was a game-changer. It is. The feeling you get when you roll across the floor silently and oh so effortlessly is probably what it feels like to have somebody who loves you. There is only one minor issue, and at this point, I'm nitpicking: When you try to move in a direction that is opposite to where you moved earlier, you will need a bit of effort (very little but present) because the wheels need to change orientation. It's a little annoying because it feels like a stutter in an otherwise smooth movement. That issue does not take away any stars. Note: I am writing this review after only a couple of days of use, so I am hoping that they hold up and don't blow up in face like all the other decisions I have made this year.
