As stated before, the switch doesn't come fitted inside it's own enclosure. This was no problem as I had an box to fit it in anyway. I have fitte it to a lathe with a 900 watt universal motor. So far so good.This switch was exactly like the one fitted to my pillar drill. Must be OK.

New switch cover for old
The front cover on original switch got knocked off. The new switch wouldn't fit properly, but the cover of the new switch was an exact fit. Problem solved.

I was hoping that this switch would come with a back cover but it didn't, so I have know made a back cover for it. this switch came to me in good time, was very happy with the delivery time. it is a shame that there was no back cover for it.
