BRIO World Travel Rechargeable Train for Kids Age 3 Years Up - Compatible With All BRIO Railway Sets and Accessories

My son loves his Brio train set; this addittion is perfect. it was a replacement for his old 1970's hand me down engine, which came with the set be bought at a bootsale. He saw this working in a department store and loved it, so we bought it at a later date as a reward. Being a USB charge version, means you're not constantly having to replace batteries and it holds its charge for much longer than it's antiquated cousin! My only negatives are that having a remote control would be very handy, as having to push the buttons on top are not always easy for a malcordinated 4 year old!

Excellent product and very well appreciated by our young grandchildren Saw the same train in Frankfurt for €40! So consider the UK price a real bargain!

Xmas present for my 5 yr old grandson.

Bought one, opened the pack and plugging it in to charge and no light came on. Tried several times and it was broken so I returned it for a replacement. Got the replacement a few days later and I plugged this one in to charge and the light came on but once unplugged, it would not work. Absolutely crap. Returned the 2nd one for a refund. Returned it on the 12th, still haven't received my refund...

Well made and robust in small hands. Push button fwd, stop and reverse on the cabe roof. manages to pull 4 or 5 wagons over a hump back bridge too.

My son loves these trains and has a few. The Brio trains seem to be the best electric ones, however changing the battery on the non-rechargeable ones is a pain as you need a screwdriver. I purchased the rechargeable one instead and the battery life is good and the buttons on top are preferable to the rocker switch on the normal ones as my son can press it easily. The lid on front snaps off however seems to be by design so it doesn't break, and you can clip it back in to place. The only negative is that this model is noticeably louder than the non-rechargeable ones.

This product arrived promptly, neat and well packaged. It looks just the job for our eight-year-old grandson and we can't wait to see his face when he opens it on Christmas Day.

Lovely train, works well, easy for little hands to handle. There is no remote control with it so can't give stars for that. The train is rechargeable via USB cable which works well.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour ce train de voyageur brio qui est rechargeable ! Plus besoin de changer les piles il suffit de le brancher.

Un'avvertenza per il prezzo pagato appena arriva il treno uno può rimanere deluso, in quanto si tratta di due mini treni davvero piccoli. Una volta però che si analizza il prodotto si nota subito la qualità dei materiali e la definizione dei dettagli, in più è ricaricabile tramite usb il che non guasta. La cosa bella è che in futuro si può ampliare con altri vagoncini, o con le rotaie ma credo sia divertente più il gioco libero per bambini di 4-5 anni che vedere un trenino fare lo stesso giro 100 volte.

Simply doesn't work!

幼稚園の玩具として購入いたしました。乾電池式ですと頻繁に交換が必要でしたが充電式は夜間に充電しておけば翌日には 遊べるので大変便利です。充電式モデルが増えると楽しいですよね。

Was so fed up of buying batteries. These are great in that you will no longer need to unscrew and replace a aaa battery. Ever. Not only are you free from battery hell but they last longer between charges than equivalent brio aaa operated train. If you leave the operator in the train, his arms will get stuck on everything as they stick out. Also, my kids used it so much the rubber wore off on the wheels and the train wouldn't get traction. I swapped out the rubber o ring from another engine.
