Great little kit for cleaning suede. I used it on my Birkenstocks and it brought them up beautifully. I’ll buy it again when it runs out.

Inside is a liquid and must be mixed up s bit before use,as it turns into a foam when applied.Slightly scented (citrus I think) and only a small amount is needed for a good clean.This is a non aerosol bottle so no waste at all.Not sure if the price it’s fair or not as I had for the same price quite same kit but with a bigger bottle.

Although it seemingly works fine, in my case, the liquid left a patchy stain on the shoes. The brushes and the cloths are so nice for the use of show care but the liquid caused a bit of disappointment.

Bought this set of suede/nubuck cleaning items. Today i decided to use it. When pumping the foam cleaner. It come out very liquidy and doesnt remain on area to be cleaned. Should come out as a foam. Shook it but made no difference either. Good idea....the set; but the foam cleaner lets it down so wont recommend it.

I have wanted to clean my old mountaineering boots ready for winter. But I didn't know which cleaner would be best for suade. So I gave the Care Guys Foaming cleaner for Suade and Nubuck. Well, the photos speak for themselves! The brighter & stronger yellow boot is the one I've already cleaned with the wire brush (included in pack) and then using the foaming cleaner with the supplied 'nail brush' After brushing the foam vigorously, and then wiping the resulting dirty foam off with the supplied cloth. Then repeating this a second time, before leaving the boot to dry naturally. When dry, I've used the wire brush again, to lift the knap of the suade. I MUST be honest and say that; my boots have NEVER looked so good! I had forgotten how yellow La Sportiva Nepal Extreme boots are! The above photos don't really do the cleaner true justice! My uncleaned boot looks like tan/sand suade, but the cleaned boot has regained its original yellow colour. BTW, I have over 24 pairs of converse high tops in various canvas colours & designs. Some of those were stained from daily wear. So I decided to give this foaming cleaner a go. And WOW! what a difference. Although this solution has been designed to clean Suade & Nubuck. I have discovered that it has cleaned & removed the stains from my canvas converse shoes. They actually look like new! I was concerned about using this cleaner on my canvas converse shoes, due to the fact I only have VERY bright colours, from neon to bright red, lime green, ect. I was concerned that this foaming cleaner might bleach the colour. But I didn't need to worry! As I've said; they really do look like new! I'll DEFINITELY be buying this cleaner again and again!
