Brilliant! Couldn’t have done without them!
Anyone who is unfortunate enough to suffer a flea infestation needs these lamps!!We’ve been battling a flea infestation for the last 2 months and that’s without any pets! (Our neighbours cat spent a lot of time here but was seriously ill and is no longer with us - we didn’t realise until it was too late that she was riddled with fleas and subsequently our house has been infested with them.)I thought it would be fairly quick and easy to get rid of fleas with no pets in the house but it has been quite a journey and not one I would like to repeat.I was at my wits end trying to figure out how we get rid of them having never dealt with them before. I contacted a pest control company but it’s so expensive to get professional help.I found these lamps when I was doing more research and I was sceptical if they would work but after reading all the reviews I decided we had nothing to lose in trying them. We've got one on our landing upstairs and one in our hallway downstairs. I’ve also been using a Vax carpet cleaner regularly and the Frontline Homegard spray. Nothing else has worked. It has still taken a few weeks of relentless cleaning, spraying being careful about our clothes and not having any mats down etc, but it finally seems to have worked. I never thought we would get rid of them they just seemed never ending.I bought some spare bulbs as there were reviews that the bulbs didn’t last more than a few days. We’ve had them on all day and night since I bought them a few weeks ago and they are still going strong.I don’t think we could have got to this point without these lamps as they have really helped to break the cycle and also monitor the situation to see how many we have left. There’s something very gross but satisfying seeing fleas in the lamp. They came with plenty of replacement pads so we’ve been able to change them over every few days and still have some left.I’m so glad I found these and would highly recommend to anyone along with the spray. I was quite overwhelmed by all the sprays but the majority aren’t strong enough and only target fleas themselves. I needed something that would kill eggs etc as well. This combination has been a dream team and I’m so grateful I found them!I think I will still be haunted by this experience for a while as they are possibly the worst thing I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ll be keeping these lamps going a bit longer just to make sure, but I’m very pleased that they have worked so well. They have saved us from spending loads of money on professional help.

Flea trap
Gross when u see them on the paper traps but great to know that’s one less in your sofa or on your cat . The bulbs don’t last for ever and used cheaper alternatives that last the same amount of time. Once set up very easy to use and low maintenance , buying bulbs and refill sheets became not available so didn’t want to buy another set of units so found a cheaper alternative . Be careful not to move or knock it when it’s on as it causes the bulb to blow .

Excellent but handle carefully
We have seasonal flea problems caused by rodents that live in between the walls of my apartment building, and I have found that these devices work very well IF you keep these points in mind;1) Put the devices together carefully and correctly according to the instructions.2) Handle the bulbs carefully and touch them as little as possible with your bare skin (natural skin oils degrade almost all bulbs including these).3) Position a device very close to where you believe the fleas are coming from.4) Turn on the device and LEAVE IT ALONE for a couple of weeks.5) Replace the Sticky Pad when it stops being sticky or is covered in dust and dead fleas. When I purchased these devices I also purchased a set of replacement bulbs as recommended by the reviews, but I haven't had to use any of them as the supplied bulbs are still going strong and have been on continuously since 12th Nov 2024. I suspect the reviewers who have reported quick-blowing bulbs are frequently turning the devices on and off each day, as this will substantially shorten the life of the bulbs compared to leaving them on all the time.

Noth but I do have ultrasonic pest machines as well
As you can see nothing in the pan I didn’t leave it on over night as I have seen a few photos on here of them burning carpets when something has failed I only had fleas once before 20 years ago and haven’t had since till these last few months for 3 months now I have been spotting bites on m but being I have the machines and 4 of my dogs and sons have grain issues so put it down to food then the other day my son admitted his dog had fleas and it stopping with I been months scratching and bits swelling up and the ears going bright red and getting bigger and hotter and wider and longer all over my legs couldn’t under stand why until the other night I felt some things scrawling on I saw what was had heart failure killed the king ordered frontline plus flea drop ons and machines last night the first time I haven’t been bitten in months one night I bitten 9 times but still have very red and inflamed bites on legs that are driving me nut I think these may work better for people with more a infestation they what have it’s took 3 months of bites before I saw one on me but don’t for don’t use them as sole treatment for house I have steam cleaned and flea sprayed and treated all the dogs my own 4 and my sons

the traps work but bulbs only last days (or hours!)
Purchased for my late father's house, where his old cat must have had fleas. As a result i get absolutely bitten to pieces despite trying various flea treatment sprays etc to rid the house of them. The good news is these really work - put them near the source of the fleas and you will come back a few days later to a some of the little guys stuck fast to the sticky discs (although I also had an assortment of flies that had had a look at it too thanks to an open window.)However the bad news is that the bulbs are rubbish and will blow after a few days use (and in the case of one of these literally within a few minutes). I thought it must just be the poor quality bulbs that came supplied with this, so bought some replacements from here on Amazon. from what I though was a fairly well-respected brand, but they haven't been much better. I'm not sure if the quality control on these sorts of bulbs is just very poor or it's something specific to these flea traps , but I see lots of other reviews saying the same thing. It's frustrating - I'm now on my 3rd lot of 2 x bulbs in the space of a couple of months, which makes them quite expensive to run!
