If you've used the RYLR998 modules, be aware that the RYLR993 will require a few changes to get it to work with the other modules. First of all, these come setup for 9600 baud by default, where the 998 was 115600. Second you need to set it to proprietary mode then reset it. The proprietary mode commands are at the end of the AT command document. Third, the syntax has changed so be ready to change the code you used with the 998. I'm looking forward to some range testing.

Super easy process great product and super fast turnaround

I love this product since it is very east to use for projects using ANY micro processor. As long as you can provide 3.3v, GND, TX, RX, you are good to go! I have been using this device to monitor my boat which is docked about a mile and 1/2 away. I can track Temperature, Humidity, Location, and motion. For this long distance use case it works flawlessly! I am trying to now take advantage of the Helium network capability but running into a few issues. Please if you have any trouble with it hold down the reset button for like 10 seconds it fixed it for me.

I've attached to orangePi and keep the connection a week long then both units failed independently. It is not usable and outside of return period. Waste of money.
