Bantam Press Lost to the World

I wanted to know more after hearing the story on Mooros Podcast. I've finished it yet but the book is great.

A captivating read. One's agony is nothing when compared to that of the author.

Initially i wasnt aware of Shahbaz’s captivity. Only knew bits and pieces. I ordered the book after listening to Mooro’s podcast with him. Finished reading the book. Amazing read. Based on true events. The story takes you along a journey of emotions and disbelief towards the end.I think the title of the book should have been “I am made of the wood that doesn’t burns easily”.It will be roller coaster journey while reading the book, so do wear your helmet. 🙂…

I was always interested to know the story in proper chronology. Great insight as to how brain washed radical mind of extremists work as well as of a great survivalist, inspired by his own father, motivated to get his life back and above of all discovering and taking refuge in his faith of the creator. Very inspiring.An absolute page turner, very well written. I knocked the book out merely in two days, except the very last chapter, as I lost the book in a bus while traveling 😔. But we all know what happens at the end. ☺️
