Disclaimer: Review from someone who doesn't know what the authentic stuff is supposed to taste like.The smell might be a bit strong but the taste seems nuanced. A bit on the sour side. However, it's not spicy at all as the Kashmiri chilli powder is added mainly for the colour.+ Thanks to the fact that fish oil isn't used, it is a great option for vegans and vegetarians alike.I love having it with some Dal chawal as well :)I hope they make this in the bulk version and consequently reduce the price.PS: there was some leakage when I opened it for the first time even though the jar was sealed and the packaging was done quite well. I hope the team finds a solution for this.

Disclaimer:if your teeth are sensitive to sour things you might just have to skip on this item as this is quite sour and that too in a bad way.I don't know about the real taste of kimchi but I personally didn't like this one ... Can't comment on guts health and things but this itself is not pleasing to my taste ....pungent smell ( may be because of the probiotics things in there and an over powering sour taste... That's all I can say about it .. and on top it retails for such high price ...totally NOT WORTH IT .

Good for beginners
It is very nice but very sour to eat. I eat this together with dal chawal as seen on shark tank. You will definitely make faces while eating😆 it but its worth giving a try
