Complete Piano for Adult Beginners: Theory and Practice

I am quite pleased with this resource as a beginner to piano lessons. Very well laid out and easy to follow. It is complete as its first half is Theory and the last half Practice. Also, 65 songs plus a video as stated on the cover. Cost efficient!

Excellent guide for new students or refreshing skills long forgotten

Teaches and guides great book, tho the songs are kinda bad didn't know most of them so that's bad

Bought for my sister in law who’s self teaching herself piano! She has a history with music theory and reading sheet music and this was perfect for her! Challenging but also helpful to remember what she was taught in grade school.

Easy to read and understand

All of the print is well written is extra large,. My old eyes really appreciate the extra large print. Excellent way to learn and/or relearn the piano! 1. Start slowly when starting out. 2. Practice daily. After a while the magic begins to come together (mentally). Spins like a dime, works every time! Hope this helps.

This book is not for beginners. The practice songs are difficult, requiring you to use sharps and flats and switch hand positions immediately. There are much better books that ease you into each lesson and have songs that match the level of knowledge shared in each chapter. This book just dumps a bunch of knowledge at the beginning and says good luck using it

Love the included video play links. They me to play the songs in the right tempos and how the songs sound like.

Neat, organized and effective collection of instruction and songs. It intuitively builds on itself well for efficient learninf. I learned to play the piano, read sheet music and now, I've moved onto reading sheet music from other easy level piano books and writing my own songs. Progress is fast, within a matter of weeks and just over a month later, I'm confident and ready to move onto the next level. Thank you for making this gem!

Don't be mislead by the title cover. " Complete Piano for Adult Begginers" Too Basic for an expensive price - useful for beginner kids. Hall Leonard books are worth the money!

I have a bit of previous music reading knowledge but this book added to that with simplicity and clarity that would help any beginner. It does not replace a tutor but it is a great place to start to save on a few months of lessons
