Perfect Rugby Gloves for Young Players
I've been hunting for a good pair of rugby gloves for my 8-year-old son, and I must say, these are fantastic. Firstly, the grip on these gloves is exceptional. Whether it's catching, passing, or simply holding onto the ball during play, these gloves have significantly improved his handling abilities.Another aspect that genuinely impressed me is how (he says) these gloves manage to keep his hands warm without sacrificing grip or dexterity. We've tried other gloves in the past that either kept his hands warm but were too bulky, or offered good grip but left his hands cold, especially during those chilly morning matches. These gloves strike the perfect balance. The material is thin enough to allow for natural movement and feel of the ball, yet it's also surprisingly warm. My son has mentioned how comfortable his hands feel, even on colder days. After several uses and washes, the gloves still look and feel as good as new. This is important for active young rugby players who need gear that can withstand regular use.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. It's great to see my son play with increased confidence and comfort. I would highly recommend these gloves to any parent looking to support their child's rugby journey. They are a game-changer!

Used for rugby
Just what we needed. I ordered the size following the guidelines provided and it fits my sons hands really well, although slightly too long in the fingers. I'm not sure whether the growth ratio of fingers and palms means that he will grow into them or his palm means he needs the next size up beforehand but if they do, the quality is there for them to last. I would still buy again and would 100% recommend.

Trendy But Warm Rugby Gloves
I was nervous about these gloves, especially as they cost more than I usually pay - but I needn't have been - I really like them.I bought them for myself - I'm a small woman and prefer children's gloves, because the fingers aren't so long. These are great because they're trendy to look at and not childish in design.I suffer from Reynaud's syndrome, in which your fingers get so cold they just go 'dead'. I need a thermal type glove. After only a week's wear, during which Britain had one of the coldest weeks for years, I found them wonderfully warm. The pink 'pattern' on the palm is, in fact, a series of grips. They allow me to grip handrails, walking stick, driving wheel etc - because they're designed to cling onto a rugby or netball..The gloves are close fitting and could potentially be difficult to pull on if you have arthritis, or if you're a child that has trouble with gloves. The wrists are sealed with a velcro strap which is great against the cold, but a bit irritating in the way it sticks to stuff, such as your woolly hat, in your bag.

My 7 Year Old Loves Them!
Bought these for Xmas for my 7 year old son for playing football. He complains about cold hands when doing weekly practice, and all his woolen or other gloves just get wet/muddy and after a few washes are trashed. Was looking for something warm, windproof, and slightly more waterproof than wool/fleece, and after much searching these seemed like they'd work. And they do!!! They keep my son's hands warm and dry during the wet and cold months at football practice, he loves them as they look great, he is the envy of his teammates (they all love them too as they look pretty cool!), and as they're designed for rugby, they work equally well with footballs for throw-ins, etc. Would definitely recommend for small people who need warm and dry hands during football practice. We'll see what they're like for rugby when he starts playing that next season!Only issue I could flag was it was a real faff trying to work out what size to get, so found the comments people had posted really helpful in deciding that.

Sizing not good for my hands
Had to return these. The first order I ordered large but realised after I had started the refund they were medium. They were far too small. I ordered the extra large and although fitted my hand, the fingers were too long so had to return them too.

Pity as they are a great design. Will now shop for proper thermal sports
My boys loves the design and they fit very well, sadly he cannot and will not wear them in the cold weather as they ARE NOT thermal or waterproof in the slightest. These are ok for spring and summer for riding a bike and not fir for purpose at all. Pity as they are a great design. Will now shop for proper thermal sports gloves

Very bright and comfortable gloves
These fit really well, you might think this is purely dependent on size, but it's also ensuring the proportions are correct and for me they fit well like a glove! They are very bright, so if you don't want to stand out I'd recommend another colour, very lightweight so you have full feeling of your fingers/hands with a little bit of protection and warmth. They are not going to keep you toasty in freezing conditions but will take the edge off in those colder, wetter days of autumn and early winter.Well made with a simple Velcro fastening at the wrist - recommended.
