Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the look of this antenna. It withstands the brushes in the car wash very well. I am disappointed in the loss of reception though. I think when I travel I will reinstall the original antenna in the hopes I’ll get better reception. We will see how that works out.

Antenna works great... the 16" one works good for my 2017 tundra. Want to say if you go through car wash, mine keeps snapping off. This will be the third one that I have purchased. For some reason it makes it the first couple times without snapping off. The videos you see them grabbing antenna and bending it are accurate, but when you go through car wash and the spinning things hit it about 20 times, it snaps off. Was hoping to have antenna that I did not have to get out everytime I go to wash. It is snapping at the brass threaded part, not the antenna itself. Be ready if you leave antenna on and it snaps, to have to use easy out drill bits to get the other half out of antenna mount.
