Only used once but will update.I had a few days growth and it does say 1 to 2 days so I did put it through its paces.Shaved my head dry and it was easy and good. I did need to go over some spots at the back of my head as its thicker but that's normal and around the ears.Only thing was I got razor burn like a really bad rash on the back of my neck. I put post shave cream on but after a day its still red.Maybe I pressed on too much or I'm just over sensitive. Will update after my next couple of shaves.If I keep getting a rash on my neck I'll send it back.I'm used to wet shave my head but never liked the time it took and the shiny look of 1st doing my head. Like some growth. Even looking into Micropigmentation SMP.I've head this product is good for that.Update after using a few times now, I find that I'm not getting a rash if I don't shave too low on my neck and go light, letting the shaver do it's thing.Would recommend.As I said I'm going to get Smp Soon and I'm hoping this shaver isn't overkill, meaning I need some stubble to work well with the head tattoo.It is a close shave, almost like a wet shave.UPDATE 7 months on.Still great shaver, only thing is cleaning the blades fully out, rinsing with just water and banging hair out won't work.You'll need to look up on YouTube a video of someone taking it apart. It looks complicated but it's actually easy.Have 10 mins every few months to strip it all down and clean. It'll run like brand new again.Only 2 springs you could lose that are really small, so I suggested doing this on a table or counter top. Lift the rubber seals and then it'll all be really easy. It's super easy putting it all back together again. After a couple of times you'll get used to it. The amount of hair still clogged up inside the blades was a fair bit. I found the battery wasn't lasting aslong but that's because of all the hair inside it, runs the battery low as its working harder for the blades to spin.I added a drop of oil to the blades afterwards and it cuts clean. Argos are still selling the proper heads to go with these. The manufacturer says every 6 months to change the heads. Will I noticed from then that it wasn't running great so like I said I cleaned it all and it's brilliant again.My head is that smooth after it's like I've wet shaved.

Used to use a wahl cordless which took an age to shave my head, though it was a great bit of kit, then tried this one out for convenience.I shave ny head with it every 3 days, it does a great job. It takes less than 5 minutes and i get upto 10 shaves with it (i always use boost setting.)I rinse it after every shave which you should do, as it only takes 15 seconds.I found it works best dry shaving - no cream, no water. Took my head a week to get used to it as i was probably pressing on too hard.When/if this breaks, I'd happily buy another. Substantially cheaper than the skull shaver but I've never used one of those

Decent head shave but not as clean as wet shave obviously but also not as smooth as a Panasonic wet/dry electric shaver. Also slower than the standard shaver without the turbo button!Decent battery life

This shaver was a complete waste of money and I'd recommend looking for an alternative. It has a "safety feature" (designed to to protect the motor from overload) whereby the power cuts off after a fraction of a second if the shaver head blades are jammed. The only way to then get it working again after such a cut-out is to plug it in to the mains to charge (even if only for a few seconds) and then try again after unplugging the power. On paper, it sounds like a sensible safety feature of the product, but the problem is my shaver head is brand new, hardly used and jams up all the time. I went through the process of contacting support, soaking the shaver head as advised (even though it was already spotlessly clean). I thought this had fixed the issue, but then next time I tried the shaver, exactly the same problem. It is now getting binned.

Have been shaving my head for 25 years. Have used a variety of clippers in this time. Was always happy ish with the end result. The negative was the hairy mess on the floor and having to get the Wife to check to make sure I hadn't missed a bit and got a clump of hair on the back of my head before I went out looking like a right twat!! My last clippers started to lose charge quickly and I took a chance on one of these. Best decision I've made on absolutely anything for ages. Charge lasts a long time (weeks). Have a buzz every 2-3 days. It's remarkably close and clean. No mess, no nicks, takes 2 minutes and easily emptied and cleaned. It's closer, not quite razor close, but smooth as and no need for the Wife to check that you don't look stupid! Buy one, amazing piece of kit. You won't regret it!!

I have tryed many and found I like this one the best .Shaves my head hair ok .Very comfortable shve no nicks to the head .Easy to use.Easy to clean .My last one lasted 2 years .Glad I got this now .

Nice unit, appears to work well, does what the manufacturer says. I feel that it is overpriced for what it is.Also, according to the leaflet, the battery cannot be replaced. Hopefully it will last for some considerable time.1st impressions are that is rather cheaply made, hence the overpriced feeling!! Only time will tell. I like the fact that it easily cleaned under running water & can be used in the bath or shower.
