Simple but effective
I am so happy with this purchase. Wasn’t sure whether it was going to be yet another gimmick, I mean how could something so simple in design, so easy to use and affordable actually work and deliver results!? Well for me that’s exactly what it has done.Prior to using the Flexbar I couldn’t manage a single pull up without experiencing pain and strain in my forearm which was the product of doing Jiu Jitsu and it’s constant use of grips.After only a few weeks of using this (consistency was key - 10 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night), I have been able to start doing pulls up again with very little pain.This won’t work for everybody but for me it is proving very effective. To the point that I have recommended the Flexbar to work colleagues and Jiu Jitsu chums alike, some of which have made the plunge and purchased one.

Amazed
30/03/2020. I have been suffering with tennis elbow now for 4 years. It has now got to a point where it is impossible for me to do barbell curls or pull-ups. It is a constant draining pain to always live with and when I am sleeping at night I will wake up from the dull aching pain. Fed up of this situation I tried various methods to cure this problem but without success. I have used BPC-157 injections which cost me nearly £200 but it did nothing. I used elbow sleeves, used eltro pad shocks, massages, medication, stretching and laying off the exercise for months. The only thing so far that seems to have helped me is the deep massages I do myself on my tendons. I am now testing this Thera-Band out and I will come back for an update. My first impression though is that the blue one is too hard for me and I wish I bought the medium one.02/04/20 - This is an update to let people suffering from tennis elbow and golfers elbow that this product has reduced my pain by 80 percent which for me is absolutely incredible. I have only been using if for a few days and at first it seemed too difficult to turn but now my muscles have adapted. I am going to continue with it and see how my elbows feel after a couple of weeks of use. There is no doubt that this has helped my pain more than anything and really I am quite in shock. Let me be clear though I am still in pain but not like how it was. I still cannot do pull-up or barbell curl but at least now I can rotate my arm without extreme pain like before.17/04/2020I have been using it everyday maybe 4 or 5 times throughout the day and doing around 50 repetitions. My conclusion is that the Thera-Band has definitely relieved my pain more than anything else but it did not rid the pain completely. I still cannot do a pull-up nor can I do a bicep curl anymore. I may have a more serious injury that I will check out with an X-Ray however the pain was greatly reduced and for that I think anyone suffering you invest in this just to relieve the pain and it may even rid the pain completely for you if you do not have a major injury like meUpdate: 20th April 2021. My elbow is 90 percent better. I believe the Theraband had a very big part to play in the strengthening of the tendons in my forearm. I still use the Theraband throughout the week. The pain I had for many years was unbearable at times. Oh and I can now do pull ups and bicep curls with only a slight pain. Before it was impossible to do due to the pain.

Tennis elbow - At last! Progress!
Ive been using this for 2 months and whilst there is still 2-3 months to go, this thing has worked miracles in getting my tennis elbow to a place where I can actually push it. I have suffered with tennis elbow/tendinitis for 5 years.For so long I have been in a vicious circle of rest, ice, exercise and then injuring it again but this has honestly been so gentle yet impactful I have been able to get back to doing some of the things I love.Important: Only use when inflammation is minimal, do the rest part first. Combine it with a good diet and plenty of protein and vitamin c to get those tendons healing and growing again.

Using for tennis elbow
Was recommended this to use alongside my physio for tennis elbow, not sure.how much it helps but I can feel it working on the affected areas

Brilliant
Had problems with my elbow for a year and more. Thought resting it would do the trick, but to no avail. Went to see my chiro and he recommended this piece of equipment which I use religiously along with other exercises and its getting better, in fact it's much better. Tennis elbow recovery time is long but fingers crossed it will sort itself.

Works Great! Helps with Golfers elbow
Had this for a couple of months now, wanted to write a review when I actually knew what this big ol' blue boy was like.I love it, it hits muscle groups and tendons unlike any other exercise. I have a nasty case of golfers elbow caused by bad form on Olympic rings, and it caused me to stop working out my upper body, which was devastating. After loads and loads of research and wasted purchases, I found this theraband and after a few weeks of regular use, I can say the pain has dropped off considerably, and I've got forearm strength comparable to pre-injury, which will help me when I'm ready to hop on them again.I don't use the twisty exercise they suggest, I do overhand and underhand grip bends, making the bar an 'n' or 'u' shape respectively. Keep your elbows tight close together and extend your arms out as straight as you can get them while still able to complete a repetition of the bend. Keep this up for a few weeks without causing pain, and you'll see results if you suffer like I do.
