Bought my first one 3yrs-ago and still works perfectly... gives out a warm, unoffensive bright light. Perfect for any room or hallway after dark and saves constantly switching on lights... which if you count up the cost over a year is expensive... especially now that tariffs have gone through the roof. We have 2 in the kitchen, one in the hallway and one in each of the other rooms. We use rechargeable batteries which last for months and months too. These are a no-brainer and the best out there.lRonnie WestheadLancs.

These are great lights. The amber light they emit is perfect for nocturnal wanderings. Very kind to the eyes. (I hate harsh light) The movement sensors are very accurate, and pick up the smallest movement anywhere in range. And the range of them is impressive. No movement for 30 seconds (which is a reasonable time) and they go off again - instantly relighting if new movement occurs. They come on in low light as well as darkness, so its a good job that the batteries seem to last a small eon. I have five of these now dotted around my home, and they are superb in every room I have them in. I use mine free standing and have not fixed them to the walls. This also allowed me to easily move them around if needed. My only wish was that there was a switch to keep them on so I could use them as mood lighting too. Mr Beams, if you read this, please could you add that switch to future models?

As a male of advancing years I tend to get up in the night for calls of nature. I live in an old cottage with a twisting staircase. This little device illuminates the treacherous staircase as I approach in the dark without me needing to put on the landing light and disturbing everyone else asleep. Its comes with a couple of fixing options. Screws or adhesive. As pictured it is attached using the adhesive strip. Its light is a soft orange yellow and stays on long enough to decend or climb the stairs. It's a useful safety feature for any staircase. I have used Mr Beams other products and the battery life is generally well over a year.

We've put this on the wall in our bathroom, so we don't have to turn the light on in the middle of the night, it's less prone to waking us up as it's a very soft, low level light. It's a very orange tinted, which personally i quite like.The motion detector works really well. It stays on for about 60s once it's triggered, so you do have to wave your arm occasionally if you're spending more than a minute in there. So far it's not needed its batteries replacing, and it's probably on for about 30minutes each day for a month. It often picks me up if i just walk past the bathroom door. It only works if it detects that the ambient light level is low. A normal 100W light bulb is enough to convince it to stay off.My only complaint is that it uses AA batteries, these days I expect everything to have its own internal rechargeable battery

Been using these for 8 years. Have them by stairs, hallway etc. no need to turn on lights at night. Had to replaced 1 or 2 due to faulty/wear and tear but in general very light.

After my then 3 year old figured out how to climb the baby gate on their bedroom door, i purchased one of these lights, especially as the removal of the gate (bedroom by the stairs) gave free reign for said child to start waking up during the night & wandering through to my room.Its been a great light, with very good sensor which illuminates as soon as motion (the door) is detected & gives my little one plenty of time to walk across the landing safely.I have since purchased a second light to place by my bedroom door which gives extra lighting.Well worth the purchase!

This battery operated nightlight works well. It shines for only about 30 secs, so switches off quickly when you leave a room but as it activates with movement, one can keep it on as long as one wants. The light is very bright. Fine if you need to see well. It says amber but it is still too bright for me as I use it at night and don't want to be made wide awake! I have solved this by putting a double layer of sticky post-it note over the light, very simple and it is now a dull orange, perfect. I have only used it free standing so cannot comment on sticking it to a wall.

Sie ist hell genug, um einen Pfad zu beleuchten, und dunkel genug, um mich in der Nacht nicht hellwach zu machen. Die Batterien (4x AA) halten etwa 3 Monate in einem 2 Personenhaushalt ohne Hunde und Katzen.Einziges Manko - daher auch "nur" 99%: Für den Batteriewechsel brauche ich einen Schraubendreher oder eine kleine Münze.

Nadat de batterijen voor de eerste keer vervangen worden, werken 2 van de 4 geleverde producten niet meer.Lampje blijft branden of gaat onnodig branden.Ik heb al van 1 mijn geld teruggekregen ( goed opgelost door Amazon !) de volgende retour ben ik mee bezig.Tot nu toe lukt dat niet.
