Our vet recommended this food for our senior cat. He loves it and has a nice settled tummy. His teeth also appear to be kept clean since he’s been eating Royal Canin. Would recommend.

Gastrointestinal Fibre responsive is for cats with constipation, it is not for cats with sickness and diarrhoea. My cat loves this kibble. They are slightly on the larger side which she has sometimes struggled with. Maybe they’re that size far a reason? That is the only negative for me. This is a veterinary diet and it does suggest you speak to a vet before giving these to your cat. My vet recommended these for my cats mild ongoing constipation issues. They are not miracle kibbles and do not replace seeing your vet if you think your cat is constipated. They are more for ongoing support for cats with constipation issues

My BSH has always had a sensitive tummy, stinky farts and mustard coloured poo so I decided to try getting something tummy friendly so see if it made a difference. The change was literally instantly. Poo a healthier colour, less stink. And all my cats love it! It’s pretty pricey so I try to keep it for her but that’s easier said than done. Definitely worth it.

This and the Ragdoll kibbles are the only ones my cats are enthusiastic about. I got this for my scottish straight cat who is a very picky eater. My ragdoll steals it from her too, although she will also eat the ragdoll kibble. Great quality food, both cats have gorgeous coats, bright eyes and gleam of health eating this You really do get what you pay for

It certainly does what it says on the packet. My cat was seriously constipated. Every few weeks costing me £150 + at the vets to clear her out. Was told best thing for her was to euthanise her as it was a lifetime problem. Last resort, was to try this Fibre Response. It worked wonders. Now she goes to the toilet normally. Now she can lead a normal life.

Unser Toni kam aus Rhodos, Müllkatze, lebte nur vom Abfall. Bekam auf der Pflegestelle gutes deutsches Futter, bei mir noch besseres mit hohem Fleischanteil und verstopfte nach genau einer Woche total, sodaß zwei Mal Klistier mit Flohsamen gegeben wurde mit dem Ergebnis des totalen Darmverschlusses. Also unter Narkose leeren, Lactulose, Flohsamen und wässriges Futter zum Aufbau. Toni hatte einen bären Hunger und wurde nicht satt, ging sodann ans Hundefutter... Die Flohsamen verstopften ihn danach beihnahe wieder. Mir wurde ganz bange!!! Viel Recherche im Netz brachte mich zu diesem Futter, und unser TA empfahl dies zu testen, jedoch hatte kein TA im weitem Umkreis oder gar die Tierkliniken Gelnhausen oder Obertshausen dieses Futter vorrätig. Also über Amazon bestellt und langsam angefüttert. Hatte so große Erwartungen und diese wurden nicht enttäuscht! Nach anfänglicher Zugabe von Lactulose konnte ich diese nach zwei Wochen völlig einstellen. Seither bekommt er drei mal tgl. 20g, sowie 100g billiges Naßfutter und sollte er Abends noch betteln, nochmals 10g davon. Seit einer Woche teilt er sich seine Portionen ein. Er hat nun gelernt, es gibt regelm. Futter, er muß nicht suchen oder hungern, er wird satt. Sein Kot ist schön weich, er ist danach immer blitzsauber.... Meistens macht er nun zwei Mal am Tag ohne jegliche Probleme. Nun mische ich dem Futter langsam wieder normales Trockenfutter bei und werde austesten, wie viel er davon verträgt, da sein Darm leider sehr träge ist. Bin sehr glücklich, denn somit kann auch die Urlaubsbetreuung ihn ohne viel Aufwand füttern und es geht ihm gut. Fazit: für Toni überlebenswichtig und funktioniert zu 100% 27.12.2017 Es geht ihm nach wie vor prima. Gebe zwei mal tgl. das Trockenfutter zzgl. Nassfutter und bei Bedarf Laktulose. Kater ist kerngesund und seit langem toppfit. Auch die Urlaubsbetreuung zuhause funktioniert hiermit zu 100%. 17.1.19 Nach erfolgter Blutuntersuchung/ährl. Check Up wurde ein deutlich erhöhter SDMA Wert festgestellt. CNI. SCHOCK....... Wie nun weiter füttern? Nach Absprache mit TA Futterumstellung auf Animonda Nierendiät. Frass er begeistert! Ausschliesslich nur noch Nassfutter mit Wasser und 1/4Tl. Movicol und Ipakitine und 2xtgl. 1/4 Mestinon Tablette sowie dasselbe mit Hillls i/d oder Hills w/d. Und bei Bedarf Laktulose 2 bis 3 ml tgl. Nun verstopfte er nach Weihnachten wieder. Schrie und krampfte. Notdienst am 1.1.19 und danach TA Besuche mit viel Klistieren und co. für über 400€ Das war unser Jahresbeginn 2019...... Nun weiter mit allen o.g. Medis, aber wieder zurück zu RC Fibre Response mit Wasser eingeweicht. Somit hat er ebenfalls wegen seiner CNI genügend Wasser dabei. Und das teure Spezialfutter Hills gib5s dann im Wechsel. Endlich geht wieder was. Aufgrund der CNI bringt eine OP zur Darmentnahme leider bei ihm nichts mehr.
