Amazing high quality distiller
I have been through two distillers in last 10 years and kept fixing the old one for last 7 years with a plastic jug. Finally caught a Christmas deal here and we are very happy. This is the best packaging for a distiller I have ever seen. Everything safely packed in styrofoam. It looks beautiful and high-end. It is more quiet than previous plastic white distiller which was pretty good but not that kind of quality. Another great feature is the glass jar which are quite expensive when you buy them separately. The jar has a grippy silicone bottom that holds onto the surface very well. The distiller looks beautiful and it works perfectly quietly making crystal clear water. I actually fill it with hot water from the faucet so on default 3:30hr there is less water left at the end. It comes with extra carbon cartridges and citric acid for cleaning. The timer and temperature adjustments are very useful. I used to set up a separate plugin timer for water making overnight now I can just adjust the time and leave it with worrying about anything. It is an amazing value especially in this price range and we look forward to drinking even better water for many years!

Great product for the price. Pays for itself
I love this thing. My journey with a distiller started with my icemaker actually. I have a nugget icemaker that sits on my counter and after about 4 months of activity it became very noise and began to fail. I contacted that company and they did a replacement but also mentioned that the replacement would last a lot longer if I used distilled water to make ice. So after a few weeks of buying distilled water I started shopping for a distiller. This guy came on sale at just the right time so I took a chance. I've bought several Vevor products and this, just like the rest, works well! I run about 3 or 4 gallons a week to make ice with and to store for other uses around the house (things like the humidifier or my CPAP machine etc... It's quiet, the fan doesn't make a bunch of noise. It's stainless so cleanup is a breeze. It makes about a gallon in about 3 hours. And is basically a set it and forget it situation. At the time Distilled Gallons were priced at about 1.25/gallon. I've run about 3.5 gallons a week since Feb so it's definitely paid for itself by this point (almost 2x).

Efficient Water Distiller with Solid Build and Practical Performance
I am very pleased with the VEVOR 1.1 Gal Water Distiller. Shipping was prompt, and the unit arrived well-packaged and protected from damage. All components were intact, and setup was straightforward right out of the box. The product quality feels robust and thoughtfully engineered. The stainless steel chamber and condenser appear durable and easy to clean, which is important for regular use. The unit operates at 750 W and produces approximately 0.3 gal of distilled water per hour, which aligns with the specifications and is sufficient for household needs, laboratory prep, or health-focused use. The digital timer (0–99 h) adds flexibility, allowing me to run longer cycles without constant monitoring. In terms of performance, the distiller produces clear, clean-tasting distilled water with minimal odor. I appreciated that the system operated consistently and quietly for its class. The included collection bottle and accessories fit well and make the distillation process more convenient. From a value standpoint, this distiller offers solid performance and useful features for the price. Comparable models with similar capacity and digital controls are often more expensive, yet this unit delivers reliable operation and practical usability without unnecessary complexity. Overall, the VEVOR 1.1 Gal Water Distiller combines good build quality, dependable water production, and flexible controls. It represents a strong, practical option for anyone needing distilled water regularly, and I would confidently recommend it for household or small-scale use.

Looks good, does it's job, has a few quirks
TLDR: pretty good and looks great vs the original white one Some background: I actually had the original water distiller from Vevor before they put the timer on it. It worked great and finally failed after almost exactly 3 years (there seemed to be a short because it melted its power cord and a replacement power cord). Since my concern about that one was actually the lack of a timer, when I saw this new model had one I went for it. Also happily surprised by how good the pictures looked. I've had it a week or so and here's my thoughts. The good: Looks great! The timer works! It does the thing! The not great: -If you change the timer to something else it doesn't change the default. It has to be set to a different time every use. That's not great. -The glass water collector is annoying to pour from especially with the lid still on. It spills. Be careful. -The instructions are pretty bad but is relatively intuitive to figure out without them. The ugly: -This is NOTABLY louder than the last one. Louder than most of my fans on medium speed frankly.

Failed product, customer service was horrible. Waste of money.
DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. Didn't last much more than a year. My last distiller from mega home lasted more than five years, probably around 7-8 years. This one has issues with the seal as soon as I got it, but I thought I could just live with it. Unfortunately it just got worse until it was completely unusable. The pieces that holds the filter chamber in, broke almost immediately and the metal chamber constantly falls off. The silicone seal is mishaped ina way that folds in on itself to far so the steam just escapes the top and never makes it to the glass jug. I finally got irritated enough to contact Vevor, and that was a joke. They sent a couple manufacturing parts that couldn't be installed. You would have to disassemble the entire machine and then put it back together. Even then, I couldn't get the old seal off. The manufacturing parts were useless to me. They could have made it right by sending a working top instead of some cheap plastic Chinese parts that couldn't be installed without disassembling the appliance. The parts took weeks to come from China and I spent weeks going back and forth in support messages and it was all a waste of time. They then said it was out of warranty, the machine had never really worked as it should. This type of service is exactly why I didn't want to reach out in the first place. Do yourself a favor and stay anyway from this brand. This machine is crap, cheap parts, the company does not stand behind their product, and the customer service was horrible.

simple to operate and nice to have in home distilled water for humidifiers.
The unit has a fan and is not whisper quiet and the cycle is pretty long but doesn't matter just start it before I leave for work and another cycle at bedtime.

Works reliably for my 1-2 gallon a day use
Works very well producing 5 or 6 gallons so far. Supplied cleaning solution (citric acid) cleans the minor scale that built up. Straps that hold the carafe's handle seem loose to me, allows the handle to rotate easily. I did assemble per the directions and does not seem unsafe but I support it underneath as a precaution. I produce a gallon every other day for my winter use humidifier, $0.38 in electric usage vs buying gallon jugs at $1.00 plus. Does take a fair amount of counter space. Pleased with the purchase.

So far, an excellent distiller
We got this five months ago. Took a bit to assemble but once done, we filled it with soapy water, turned it on, and it did exactly what it claimed to do. It produced over1 gal of distilled water in about 3.5 hours. We dumped that out, rinsed the distiller and glass pot, refilled it and turned it back on. Again, we produced about 4 L of pure distilled water in 3.5 hrs. We have mixed that distilled water with the filtered water we previously generated in a pitcher, to produce a 50:50 mix of filtered tap water and distilled water. So far, the result tastes great and is much healthier. The unit turns off when empty, turns on with a simple push of a button, is easy to dissemble for cleaning/rinsing, is easy to fill, and generates the distilled water we want. It has been working perfectly for about five months now. So far, so good! No leaks or malfunctions. If it breaks or malfunctions in the future, I will edit this post to say so. Some people have complained it leaks. It does not. Rather, to pour the water, you have to position the distiller directly over the big opening above the pitcher or glass you pour it into. It may drip a bit as you pour, but so what. The pitcher or glass should catch all the water.
