Good quality and perfect for the job

Needed this switch and although they were available locally they were a lot more expensive. I wasn't in a hurry for it so bought it here on line. It arrived within a couple of days and works perfectly.

Needing to replace one of my existing switched spurs, I saw on Amazon what seemed to match my two existing switches which are mounted by side by side. On receipt of the package I could see that the switch enclosed was of a slightly different design to the one in the Amazon photo, also one of the two screws required to secure the faceplate was missing. Operationally, the switch worked as it should, build wise, I would expect to find this quality in a hardware shop rather than an electrical supplier, and it is obvious that this item was manufactured down to a price in the far east and not up to the standard of a British or a slightly more expensive switch. For the price paid, this quality is to be expected, but if you need a superior quality item, something which will stand the test of time, be prepared to spend a little more money.
