Very happy with this hood.I installed with exterior venting and live in a exposed area and in windy conditions the non-return flaps were noisy ,opening and closing. The solution was to simply remove the flaps.I needed to reduce the outlet from 150 to 120mm diameter,luckily Screwfix stock a Manrose item (33275) for £1.99 which was simply set in place with sealant.The reducer actually needs min.125mm flexiduct.In use I found the unit less noisy than the one removed.The grease filters are quite good quality but as with all mesh filters not totally effective. I chose to use carbon filters fitted to the motor housing to prevent grease entering the motor and ducting.Overall this unit is good value.

I replaced my old unit with this one. It is not as robust as the older one and has a much smaller fan motor. Works well on higher settings and looks great in place. Comes with ridiculously long 2" screws which are over the top for the weight of the hood. I used inch and a quarter only.

Generally, this is a good cooker hood, for the money!Noise level is a little bit annoying, but you get used to it. It looks good in the kitchen.Brightness could be better, but just about sufficient.The material scratches easily though.The biggest issue was installing it.I cut my fingers several times on either the back of the cooker hood unit, or (mostly) the chimney part. This chimney is very cheap! Floppy metal. Most of all VERY SHARP EDGES, to the point that I felt it should be reported to the British Safety Standards cooperation!!REALLY Tiny bolt screws provided to attach the chimney part, unless you've got spindly fingers or a magnetic screwdriver, it is impossible to fit.

Very happy with cooker hood only a little disappointed because only brought yesterday and fitted today. All good but went back on to see about buying spare carbon filter’s as spares to see that today you can add a £15 off voucher! Wasn’t there yesterday so as I said a bit disappointed. Nothing wrong with hood that’s great thanks

LED light is small and dim and in the rear centre of the hood so does not give much light out.LED light is a "bright white" temp but seems bluesish in colour .

I ordered it twice and it is missing flange even though it says in the instructions it should be there. Without it you cannot complete set up... waste of time, do not recommend.
