Value for money & handy equipment
I purchased this to use at home and aid in rebuilding strength. It arrived fast, and was easy to set up. It is light weight. I find this easy to use and has helped me in the past few weeks of using it. I would recommend this product. I use it while working at my desk and even when watching TV. It can fold down to a point so can be put away nicely.

Needs something else
Bought for my elderly father who needs to get his legs moving. Great and space saving too as it folds, however needs something to help it stop sliding when it is on carpet. Have tried rubber mats but just crumples up. Need to think about how he can safely use it independently. Stirrups are not adjustable, so if feet are swollen, may struggle to insert them. Also great for using at the table for arm mobility.

Basic....
Does the job and decent for the money. Two things let it down ; 1. Display doesn't show distance, just revolutions 2. Feet are plastic, not rubber, meaning the machine doesn't grip the floor and slides badly all over the place. This is such a bad/major design fault that should have been rectified before marketing this

Knee Replacement Physio
Was advised by my physiotherapist to get this to help with my knee replacement recovery. I got this on Amazon resell at a good price. The tension is adjustable, it's simple to use and records your activity as you go. Press and hold red button to reset back to zero. Folds flatter for smaller storage. TOP TIP : Make sure the rubber feet are correctly turned flat bit to the floor to avoid it moving on carpet. Once that is done, it doesn't slide.

Does the trick
Overall this is a decent product. On the plus side it is light, folds away easily and does the job of helping me to burn calories. The digital display is useful and shows a cumulative total so even if you don't use it for a couple of days, it still shows, e.g. how many calories you'd burned when you last used it. However, the display can be reset to zero by pressing and holding down the display button for a few seconds. I use it to exercise my arms as well as my legs and it works fine on both accounts. On the negative side, when I pedal with my legs, the exerciser starts to slide across our carpet after just a few revolutions. To combat this I place a strip of anti-slip mat (the mesh type that you can pick up for £1 in certain stores) under the back feet and it works a treat. Another criticism is that the pedal shaft gets hot very quickly (although there is a warning about this in the accompanying leaflet) and is prone to squeaking. You can address the latter by putting a few drops of oil on the shaft, either side of the central mechanism.

... using this for just under a month and I love it. For context
I've been using this for just under a month and I love it. For context, I'm a 25 year old man so I'm not sure I'm the intended audience having no real mobility issues or rehabilitation needs. However, I've just moved into a new job where I'm sat for 99% of my day, only walking fifteen minutes twice a day to get to and from work. I found myself getting achy and restless in the evenings (where I also sit for the majority), but don't have much spare money to get out and go swimming (my preferred form of exercise). I decided to get this just to keep myself moving in an evening while watching TV and it's fab. The resistance can be altered but as this is just a screw down feature, it does wind its way back up eventually and isn't at a level to really build muscle. Also, the metal 'legs' leading to the pedals heat up a little after extended use, but they quite very hot to the touch with a high resistance so I suspect something may wear down with sustained resistance use. I just pedal with no resistance at all but for about an hour with my legs, and then maybe ten minutes with my arms to keep the blood flowing. It's ideal to tuck away under my desk when I'm not using it (I have to pull it out slightly in use as I'd bang my knees otherwise) and despite never folding it up, it's quite unassuming. It doesn't move around much on my carpet and my housemate who is in the room below me says that she can't hear it moving around at all. I suspect that the digital display is inaccurate as the 'calories burned' section seems far too optimistic. However, the rotation counter and timer is useful to just monitor how long you've been pedalling. Overall, I like this and it's great for the price paid (£19.95). Should it wear out or break, I'll likely buy another one as it's a simple but effective bit of kit. One of my knees can be a bit iffy after a severe dislocation a few years ago so this keeps it moving nicely without breaking the bank. Obviously it's not going to turn you into a champion cyclist but it does help you feel less like a blob. I've only knocked off one star for the display and the resistance feature potentially damaging the rest of the frame, but it really is good value for money in my opinion.
