Under the Ocean (Pop Up Book): 1

This is a long thin book and the pop-up effect is poor. A clumsy book, difficult to handle. Very “busy”, badly drawn sketches of fish and loads and loads of weed and other unconvincing artwork. Story not well written. This HAD to be given to the four year old recipient to catch his Birthday in time, or we would have sent it back. We added a Junior Nat Geographical to make up for it which got a lot more attention than the book.

Can't help but be disappointed, compared to pop-up books of my youth this is very blah, I mean it's nice and all but not fun, not like the haunted house book or Alice in Wonderland, your child will be unlikely to get excited about this one

A really special book - its a keeper. The pop ups and designs are so intricate and really are beautiful. The art work is so individual and they have depicted under and over the sea so perfectly. When I show it to my son he gasps with delight. I will be keeping this one on the bookshelf forever - its glorious.

I bought this for my granddaughter, who loves pop up books, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. She absolutely loves it. Very pleased with my purchase.

It is beautiful. Very artistic and with lots of details. Loved it. I am keeping it for a Christmas gift for my little one (his first Christmas).

Beautiful book - will need to be read with supervision with younger grandchildren but only to protect the wonderful and imaginative pop ups

My 4 year old grandson loves this book, it has become his favourite especially at bedtime! He goes on lots of amazing adventures in the really intricate underwater scenes which he loves to view from every angle. Entertaining and informative, a really good buy.

Really visually amazing but short and slightly clunky and if I'm honest, boring story.Still - it's very pretty.
