KFI Products 100430 Winches, regular

Needed a winch mount for a really old ATV and this fit the bill nicely. Instructions were easy to understand. Installed with winch and ready to pull stuff within an hour.

First off the mount fits great and is very well built. It works as described and looks good on the front of my 2002 Sportsman. However I received the mount and tore apart the front of my ATV only to find that the mount I received did not have the correct hardware included with it. I called KFI directly and an actual person answered the phone, which was nice. This was Wednesday December 30th. I asked for the missing parts to be sent overnight to me. KFI could not because of the holiday and was assured that I would receive the missing hardware Friday 1/1 or Saturday 1/2. I was told that I could get the parts at the local hardware store to get my ATV back together. I gave KFI CS my home address so they could send me the missing hardware and then spent $9 at my local hardware store. It is now Tuesday 1/5 and I still have not received my missing hardware.***Update: I received missing hardware on 1/6. so changed review to 4 stars.I would give this mount 5 stars as it was easy to install and good quality.

I've used these on 2 different 2002 Sportsman 500's and they fit without any modifications. (Though one of the holes wasn't fully punched so I had to use a punch to knock it out, but that was a 5 second fix.)The first one is over 5 years old and the powercoating is holding up great. This second one has only been on for a short while, so I can't review the longevity yet, but it looks good.

I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 400 and this bracket fit perfectly. As with every other KFI product I've purchased, it bolted right on as described. It was promptly delivered, came complete in sealed packages included clear and precise instructions and it was a breeze to install. No modification was needed to fit my machine. This was the first step to installing a KFI plow.

Love it. Perfect fit for Gen IV, ATP 500 H.O. style. I will warn you, not a simple process. Lining up all the bolts with the brush guard and radiator shroud is a chore. Leave everything loose, as the instructions state, until all the hardware is in place. A very solid, durable mount. Lots of room on my machine for the SuperWinch LT3000 (largest rated for this mount) and still clears the front bumper.

Allowed me to mount a winch on an older ATV. Now I don't have to worry about getting stuck.

Fit my 1999 Polaris Sportsman 335 perfectly. It was a hard to get the mount around the clips, but it fits nice and tight when you're done. Start off by getting one clip and screw in on each side (just a few threads). If you try to put all the clips on before the mount, they will fall out for sure. I wedged a flat head in there while I tapped the clips in, yep.. it's that tight! Get 'em all in loose, and tighten them all up, and you're done.

I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 6X6. This item claimed to be an exact fit. After removing the radiator shields, the four bolt holes on each side of the winch mount didn't align. I was able to get bolts in the top holes on both sides. For the remaining three holes on each side I had to egg-out the holes with a rotary tool. Aside from the incorrect holes, the winch mount is very sturdy and fits my winch perfectly. I wouold have given this thing five stars except for the mounting holes being off.
