Superb Design & Sound
Got these headphones today the sound is very upfront in a good way' very clear with bags of detail. Pick a song with a bass drum in it and you'll think its in the same room as you.I picked these as i had the Sennheiser Momentum in ear and found that they kept falling out although they sounded fantastic i was sick of the design. The design of these is bloody superb and once they're in they stay there' also the sound isolation is fantastic once the music is playing I'm in a world of my own' which is where i like to be.With regards to the Sennheiser these don't sound better they just sound as good but the design is better. They appear to be all metal bodied so the build quality is better also but theyre are probably twice the price of the senn'sIm using mine with an iPhone 7 plus if that helps with your choice

Amazing
Ok let’s see how Amazon works out this message. If your looking at this review your clearly into your music and not satisfied with the headphones you own and like me want to appreciate the music you have acquired, its B & O first venture into in ears and have they got it right? Personally 200‰. Don’t read the What Hi Fi reviews. 4 star, Bought so much stuff over them over the years based on their reviews: headphones, amps etc and been so dissapointed, Trust me on this please. Sound wise amazing. Balanced, not too much bass but if like me these are for the bus download an eq app on y phone and either boost or reduce, the STOCK eq app in iTunes is shocking. Try Denon. It’s not free but costs a pint. Ok back in the room, £130 lot to pay for little buds but are they worth it? Me says yes. You can get cheaper buds some good some bad. How do you know how good they are as your buying blind? These are top draw. Frequently range amazing. Balanced, don’t over do any frequency and don’t distort at high volume (my ears)Few reviews mention the fit with those silly loops. Can’t re write the book but I still don’t get why they didn’t release a pair without. Would be easier” BUT as previous reviews you get used to it. Adjust the loop to the smallestt setting then adnjust. Summary. How good are these and are they worth the price? Think told you that already.

Excellent sound, crap build quality - only buy with insurance
I had previously bought the first version of the same model used on ebay. Within a few months the cable turned green from oxidization (a known issue). A few months later the sound on one side suddenly became muffled (unless you pressed the remote - another known issue). The sound was really great, however. In addition B&W claimed to have fixed build quality issues in version 2, so I decided to give it another try.Just to be on the safe side I bought the headphones together with the insurance. As it turned out that was a wise decision. As with the previous version the sound quality was excellent. However, sadly the build quality had similarly not changed. Within half a year the metal front part of one the headphones separated from the plastic casing. Since I could not guarantee that the reason wasn't one of my kids accidentally sitting on it I claimed the insurance (they paid immediately and without a fuss). I managed to glue the front part back in and continued to use the headphones. A few weeks later the front part on the other side fell out, luckily again without ripping the thin cables inside. A while later the sound on one side suddenly became quiet and muffled. Following some forum advice I opened the front grille and removed the membrane between the speaker and the grille which had loosened and stuck to the front. A month later I had to do the same with the other side. Sound quality is a bit diminished, but at least the headphones still work. Not for long, however, since now the (rather flimsy) cable on the right hand side has started to fray at the point where it attaches to the more rigid ear loop.To summarize: Not recommended unless you buy the insurance together with the headphones.

Consider These - I like Them - But No Longer Love Them
This is a difficult review, Why well because I am a true B & W fan of several years. I had the original C5 which like all the reviewers before me I will agree lacked the Bass as one may wish. I listen to everything Dance, Drum & Bass, Classical and Guitar. My first C5 developed a fault on the left ear speaker and the in line control became loose and unreliable.Still as a fan and knowing the C5 Series 2 had been tweaked and the Bass improved it was decided to order these and after speaking to Audiophile experts as well who endorsed these all the way " They are still the best especially for the money " they said. What about Sennheiser I said " They are ok but go B & W. And what about Bose " Overpriced they said and the sound suffers. So I ordered these and the Bose Quiet Comfort 20 ( Noise Cancelling ) Not a true of fair comparison some might say, however I have returned these. Please be assured I an still a fan and the Bass really is improved. The reason for sending they back, firstly a reminder from the wife that after several hours especially on flights I would complain of some pain in the ear where they seat using the unique loop system, the other reason that when your sat next to someone with the volume up ( The way I like it ) other can hear the sound ) and lastly the Bose are bloody good, overpriced but very, very comfortable, you forget they are in, the noise cancelling is just great and the wife, well I cannot here what she is saying anymore.

Superb sound quality with versatility
I have no words to describe my satisfaction with the quality of these earphones. They sound superb, deep punchy, but clean and clear bass. Very clean midd ranges and high highs. They look modern and sleek and have a durable build. I use these at the gym with no problem (the secure loop holds them tightly in place) and when selecting the right ear tips, i recommend the InAir memory foam tips, they work great on noisy flights too. I used to be a dedicated Bose user, i went through every single new iteration of Bose earphones since the MIE2i but the latest ones (the Bose SoundTrue Ultra) dissapointed me, so i searched many hours for a new pair of earphones and came across these. I took the uncertain risk and i am certantly not dissapointed.
