Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie [Blu-ray] [DVD]

A great prequel movie to the original Ghost in the Shell anime (1995).Although I would recommend watching GitS Arise episodes 1-4 beforehand which shows the ground works for the beginning of Section 9 (but not essential).Five stars with no hesitation.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy that I now have this in my collection! I'll have to watch it at some point.

Solid entry in the GitS metaverse.

Ghost in the shell was the 2nd manga film that I saw years ago after Akira. Been hooked on ghost in the shell since so when I heard there was a new one coming out it went on the list and in my opinion it doesn't disappoint.

I do not understand it, but I love it.

I'm not to sure about this latest Gits and i may have to see it a few time, but first impression is its not up to the previous work and i found myself making cups of tea during the film without putting it on pause. I'd never do that the the previous Gits. This story takes place after Arise..The action sequences are excellent but the could have done a lot more with the Major's past story line than they did.
