Bought this five years ago to dry cars with without touching them. I'm very impressed with it and works fantastically well for blow drying but bear in mind, your car MUST be sealed (waxed,coated etc) to to this effectively. It's powerful enough to blow water off the far side of a car roof, therefore, a much quicker drying process meaning less chance of the dreaded water spots. Even if you don't use it for touchless drying it's extremely useful for the removal of water from those intricate parts that cannot be manually dried, mirrors, grills, door-shuts, you know the bits. Weight: The unit is light enough to hold for extended periods with you're arm is outstretched. Noise: It's comparable with a household vacuum but less noticeable as you're going to be using it outside. Vibration: There's none to speak off. Nozzle: The rubberized nozzle is a bonus too for when you knock the paintwork, yeah, you will. Temperature: The air isn't heated, other than air being warmed to the ambient motor temperature. That's actually an attribute as I find pro machines with heated air simply assist the water to dry. You don't want water drying; you want to blow it off. Period. Portability: Unlike pet dryers and mega expensive pro machines, it's a one handed job. Durability: It's been used every week for the last five years and I haven't even had to use the replacement brushes it was supplied with. Functionality: Really useful is the trigger control. The more you squeeze the faster the air flow. Robust: It's a tool and sometimes I've treated it poorly. It's even survived numerous 5 feet drops unscathed. I use a long dwelling snowfoam and blow the foam off the drive when I'm done, therefore, no nagging from the misses about the drive looking like Narnia two hours later. Yes, an extension lead is going to be needed for most tasks but that's no bIg deal. It also makes for an efficient leaf blower on my lawn. Summary: I consider this unit essential for car washing. If you're into car cleaning this blower makes the process so much easier and elevates your results without breaking the bank. If you purchase one make sure it's the 800 watt version, not the similar looking 650 watt. I'm so impressed with it I bought, no, not the company, but a second one immediately after my first in case they were discontinued.

Very good volume of air and good pressure. Noise level and vibration are good. I would rather have paid a bit more and had a longer mains lead. It is only about 4 feet long. Otherwise a really useful tool. Busted out a brick door lintel yesterday and it took just seconds to blast all the dust and bits of masonry out of the kitchen. Happy with it,

Brilliant blower that I mainly use for removing water from my freshly washed car, especially around the wheels to stop discs rusting straight after washing. The rubber nozzle avoids damage if you catch the paintwork and doesn't leave a mark. It is very noisy so I recommend some ear-plugs but the amount of air this can blow is amazing for its size. Quality is typical no-frills but simple things like a spare set of motor brushes shows some attention to detail. It has the capability to be a vacuum cleaner but I found this to be a bit sketchy as the blower did get quite hot. For normal blowing you can use this for shifting leaves or even cleaning gutters (although that can be messy). I've also used this (with care) to get my barbeque charcoals going and for blowing grass clippings back onto my lawn. Well recommended but extremely noisy.

The item is good value based on the price of other blowers available but this item is let down by the length of the cord. If its to be used on cars the length of the cord is far too short. For example if you want to clean the roof of the car or any area higher up then the cord is just too short and if using an extension you risk this making contact with the car and causing damage. The simple answer is just double the size of the cord and it would have been 5 stars.

I bought this to dry my motorcycle after washing, as many of the reviews have said the cord is a little short but if your working outside you're going to need an extension cable anyway. It produces enough blast to get water out of all the nooks and crannies, start at the top and work down or you blow water onto the bits you have just dried. Does a great job of getting water out of brakes and shocks etc. Once dry I finish off with a soft microfibre and a detail spray. I've not tried it on the car but it's got plenty of power. Not had it long enough to comments on its longevity but I'm happy particularly for the price

Bought this as didn't want to fork out silly money for 'hot air blowers' for professional car detailing Used it a few times now; 1st time was when I detailed the engine bay on my 2015 BMW F31 touring and it did a superb job getting water out of all the nooks & crannies And I've used it to blow water off the car when I detailed it at the weekend Not heavy; not stupidly loud and plenty powerful enough

If you are into your detailing you will love this. A sealed or waxed car can be dried in a few minutes, which is terrific, but it’s best ability to me is the way it can blast water out of all the awkward wee trim pieces, like grilles etc. Since you can then air dry the car, it means you’ve performed a big part of the job without touching the paint and therefore have added no scratches or swirls. I’ve see it myself so many times... someone uses a cloth which is dirty and has has tiny invisible bits of grit inside it which have then covered a car in light scratches. So easily done and can be so damaging, This machine avoids the chance of scratches in this step of the job. More than adequate blowing power and a very good cost compared to what you’d pay on a detailing site for a machine of similar abilities with a more fashionable name. Incidentally, Chemical Guys used to sell this exact item with a CG sticker on it, and for considerably more than Amazon charge for this on one here! 5/5 all day long...
