Canon R6 Mark II: A Photographic Powerhouse with Incredible Focus Tracking
The Canon R6 Mark II is my second purchase of this incredible camera model, and I absolutely love it. As a professional photographer, I’ve used a wide range of cameras over the years, and the R6 Mark II stands out as one of the best for capturing stunning photos with ease and precision. One of the most impressive features of this camera is its focus tracking. It’s nothing short of amazing how accurately and quickly it locks onto subjects, even those in motion. Whether I’m photographing wildlife, sports, or portraits, the focus tracking never fails to deliver sharp and clear images. This capability has elevated my photography to a whole new level, allowing me to capture moments with incredible detail and clarity. The R6 Mark II also offers excellent low-light performance, thanks to its high ISO sensitivity and advanced image stabilization. I’ve been able to shoot in challenging lighting conditions without compromising image quality, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves shooting at night or indoors.Additionally, the camera’s ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to operate, even during long shooting sessions. The menu system is intuitive, and the touchscreen display is a pleasure to use.Overall, the Canon R6 Mark II has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a reliable, high-performance camera that’s perfect for both amateur and professional photographers alike. Whether you’re upgrading from another model or looking for a powerful camera to start your photography journey, the R6 Mark II is a fantastic choice that won’t disappoint.

Great imaging, blazing fast, and AF that is faster than your eyes.
Fantastic camera body with great technology! I switched from Nikon when I went mirrorless and haven't looked back. They are expensive, but buy Canon L lenses for the best image quality. The camera is good enough to warrant it. The kit lenses are very good, but I wanted more.

A little heavy, but an amazing camera
I upgraded from a SL2 and wow it makes a huge difference. I am not a professional photographer or use it in my line of business but the camera is pretty easy to use. So much focus points and the customizable buttons are a nice touch! Highly recommend for anybody wants to get into photography.

Great Hybrid Prosumer camera with lots of features
9 years in photography, mostly weddings and portraits and graduation. I shot with a 5D Mark IV for the last 6-7 years. It's a great camera but when mirrorless technology came I wanted to move forward eventually. However Canon wasn't nearly stepping up until the past two years. The R5 was a little out of my budget and EOS-R had only one SD card slot (wtf Canon, one slot?!). The R6 Mark 2 fit between the two. The original R6 lacked a decent amount of megapixels but when the R6 Mark 2 released, with the nearly 25MP I was content with that.I finally took this one out to a few events and a few portrait shoots.Pros:-Face detection, pet detection, vehicle detection, all types of detection for AF.-Extremely fast shooting speeds (great for sports photography)- 6K video and long filming times (longer than my 5D MK4)-Great low light performance, outshines my 5D-Numerous extra features which make taking photos so much more pleasantCons:-AF can get confused sometimes (I was at an event and it was wanting to focus on a flag on the wall even with People AF selected, huh?).-Not the camera, but CANON PLEASE LET 3RD PARTY COMPANIES MAKE RF LENSES

Amazing
I’m sure people write verbose reviews talking about Canon color, features, mirrorless technology, etc. you can go on line and watch a weeks worth of reviews. Bottom line, every part of this camera is stunning. The autofocus in articular is a huge step forward. I enjoy the ease of control and immediate access to what I want to adjust before taking the photo. Two card slots is great if using this in an Lu professional job or even capturing special moments. Having redundancy in camera is nice. This is an advanced camera and shooting in raw will give you the most flexibility. If you don’t plan to spend time editing images on the computer, then a less expensive body would suffice. This camera has amazing video capabilities. I don’t use video at all so would be nice to have a less expensive option without video but Canon doesn’t provide that. It’s amazing. It’s a lot of camera that gives the user unlimited control. It’s rather expensive, and it’s worth it!

Amazing camera
Coming from Canon 5D MK IV which has served me well for several years. I hadn't been too interested in moving to Canon's mirrorless lineup until recently. I am traveling quite a bit lately and wanted something a little smaller than my 5D MKIV with a grip and large aperture L lenses. After reading the specs and reviews of the R5 and R6 MK II, I was quite interested in both. While the R5 might be the target for serious 5D MKIV owners, personally, I felt the R6 MK II was a better fit for my needs (travel, family pictures, wildlife, etc.). I ordered the R6 MK II with the 24-105/f4L kit which just arrived today. Without reading the manual or changing any settings, I took some test pictures indoors and was instantly blown away by the images this camera produces. Super versatile, intelligent shooting modes, and with image stabilization in both the body and the lens, completely sharp pictures can be taken at very low shutter speeds.Very happy with this purchase - I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, and thought maybe I would miss the higher resolution of the R5, but since this R6 was just refreshed (and it doesn't look like a R5 MK II is going to be here anytime soon), I went with the R6 MK II and couldn't be happier. If you are like me and obsessing over specs between the different mirrorless offerings from Canon, trust the reviews and sample images. This is an amazing camera which will meet the needs of most user profiles. Don't wait, when you see a few trickle in to inventory, get one!
