I have a lovely vintage Singer and a modern Janome machine, this oil is great for both. It allows me to thoroughly oil after cleaning them - perfect. The consistency is just right, it has viscosity to stay on the parts but also flows extremely well. A great product.

I bought this oil for an off label use - to fix a stiff lock in a double glazed door.It was almost impossible to turn the key in the lock, and it was becoming a real concern that we might be locked out, as it was an external door and dust from the road had got into the mechanics. It was going to cost a fortune for a locksmith. To try a simple and inexpensive aternative, we bought this oil.To start, we vacuumed the lock on both sides to remove any excess dust, and then rubbed a tiny bit of oil onto the key. By putting the key into the lock and turning it a few times on both sides, the internal workings were lubricated and it has stayed as smooth as silk since (over a year). We've also now added a lock cover to reduce the dust long term.It looks like a small bottle, but it's such high quality that when it advises you to only use a couple of drops it really means it. This small bottle packs a big punch and will last almost forever.
