Took 2 on the first day as I had a cold sore about to break out and it stopped it in its tracks. Then went to one a day and it went away and haven't had one since. Better than any cream I've ever tried.Yes they're slightly large, but easy enough to swallow with fluid and there's no taste at all.

I love this product because when I am run down or near my period (triggers for a cold sore attack) I take one tablet daily and it totally prevents painful cold sores erupting. I find it so effective and totally recommended it. So worth the money! - as my cold sores can take upto 2 weeks to heal and are unpleasant to have and I haven't had one since using this product! Not too expensive anyway in my opinion.Only slight downside is the size of the tablets for swallowing but as long as I am relaxed and take a large glug of water they go down fine; this doesn't stop me buying, using and being happy with the product.🙂👍

I’ve bought 3-4 of these because of how helpful these are with boosting my immune system and most importantly prevent from getting cold sores! I used to have a cold sore every 1-2 months and I read that lysine helps with cold sores. That couldnt be more true! I have had only one cold sore in the past year!! And it was a mild one. I can recommend this brand especially, they give you a supply of 6 months which is plenty and the dosage is huge! They also donate part of every purchase to children’s hospice. The tablets are quite large, though. Other than that I wish I could give 6 stars!

BOUGHT FOR PERSON WHO HAS COLDSORES AND IS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE AS HE'S ONLY BEEN TAKING A SHORT WHILE AND IT SEEMS TO BE HELPING HIM WITH HIS FIGHT AGAINST PROBLEMATIC COLDSORES THAT HAVE PLAGUED HIM ON A REGULAR BASIS.WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT DUE TO THE AMOUNT YOU GET FOR THE PRICE.THE ONLY DOWNSIDE THE TABLETS ARE QUITE BIG AND MAY BE DIFFICULT TO SWALLOW FOR SOME PEOPLE,AND PROBABLY WOULD BE BEST BROKEN UP TO MAKE IT EASIER,OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE IS FINE AND WOULD'NT LET THE SIZE OF THE TABLETS PUT YOU OFF.

Ordered second tub of these for my daughter, first amount l purchased was a 3month supply. A nurse at Bedford hospital which l attend recommended these or the ointment, my daughter has suffered most of her life with bad outbreaks of cold sores ( she is now in her 30’s ) . Since taking these tablets in the first month she had the tingling sensation she was about to get a cold sore. Glad to say it never materialised & so far she has not had an outbreak at all. Having given everything a try over the years & drs prescribing nothing has worked till now. So think we may have at long last found the solution for something that’s incredibly painful & unsightly for her. Would definitely recommend anyone to try.

I bought these tablets when my friend told me they could help with cold sore outbreaks. I bought them over a year ago and take them when I have a cold or can feel a cold sore coming on and I haven’t had a cold sore since. I absolutely swear by these tablets. Unfortunately they are absolutely huge and quite hard to swallow but worth it.

I take quite a few of Nu U Nutritions supplements. Quality products, great value, and great customer service.There has been some interesting research into L Lysine and its effects of reducing Anxiety which is why I'm trying it out. The only thing I'd mention is that the pills are some of the largest I've used, I can just about do them whole but they do break up easy if that's an issue for you.Edit.After a week or two with these. The size of the pill has become a slight issue. I'm unable to swallow them most days, breaking is easy but the broken edges also make it difficult to get them down.
