Bought 2 of these for garden waste removal and so glad we did as during the snow fall week one of our fir trees came down. So having sawed the branches into portasble sizes packed into the sacks to take to the tip. Brilliant job made easier by having these very sturdy sacks. Highly recommended!

These garden bags are absolutely huge. I knew they would be big from the description but seeing them in person was still a bit of a surprise. They are exactly what I needed for clearing the autumn leaves and all the general bits of garden waste that build up at this time of year. The material is thick and sturdy and the bags hold their shape well once they are open. The handles feel strong and make it much easier to drag the bags around the garden even when they are full. I filled one completely with leaves and it still lifted without any worry of tearing. They fold down neatly when you are finished which is handy for storage. Two in a pack is great value and means you can get a proper rhythm going when doing a big clear up. If you have a lot of trees or just a garden that collects debris, these bags make the whole job quicker and far less frustrating. I am really pleased with them.

Huge bags which I use as a professional gardener to remove garden waste. The 500L model is easy to drag around when full on grass but on driveways and gravel, the bottom tends to rip / come away. Unsurprising to be honest and not a product failure; a more reinforced base would add expense and these are very reasonable as they are. Just be careful not to drag over rough areas. So on the whole, fully recommended.

Handy size for garden waste

These bags really are big - I bought them to fill and transport garden waste to the local tip - they are very strong and have good handles which allow you to carry / drag the bags in to position. The only real issue to be aware of is that depending what you are putting in to these bags - they can hold so much that they can become too heavy to lift and you may require assistance. As well as transporting garden waste to the tip, I also found then useful for storing garden waste when my council garden waste bin was full and filling it when the bin had been emptied again. I recommend these bags but be aware of the weight when you are filling them

There's nothing "heavy duty" about these. Normal cotton stitching secure the handles, and it's made of thin tarpaulin. I know from experience that UV and dampness will absolutely destroy these in no time. I bought the 500L version, but wouldn't dare fill them more than half full with grass because they won't cope with the weight. They're only suitable for carrying ANY grass if you tip the grass in then go straight to the tip. If you left it in for any length of time, they will decompose alongside the grass. Not terrible value at a fiver each, as long as you take the time to clean them afterwards and store them dry, out of the heat and sun. Without care, these are basically disposable, single job bags.

Sturdy bags but remember when they’re full they’re heavy!

These were so incredibly useful for taking tree and bush cuttings to the recycling centre. The 270 L one was ideal for fitting into my VW Polo (2 can fit in the boot with the seats down). There are handles at the top and at the base of the bags to help you tip the contents securely into the skip, the solid rim that you insert to keep the bag held open is fantastically useful and overall it is a very sturdy bag. Well worth the cost. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars is that there were a few small holes in the bottom of the bags by the end of the day from piercing branches however, the crossed fibres design means that these won’t easily become bigger. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent product, the only downside is that you have to be mindful of the weight, if like me you only have a 5 door vehicle. For trimmings it's fine but dont fill it too full with grass cuttings as it becomes very heavy.
