Consider buying a size larger. Good quality.
The shorts were good quality - esp for the ;pw price. For my brother these were too small. Other shorts from other folks in small do fit him so.. I think this may be just a Ed Hardy size learning curve on my part. I did not try to return these as I simply washed then gifted them to a grandson for summer shorts. Heheh grandson sure did not mind slightly used & he is rather thrilled with the design! So overall it still worked out for us with this pair. Fwiw a few days later I did order a pair of medium shorts for my brother from Ed Hardy and those are a good fit..Well worth the cost. If you are concerned with size.. bump up a notch.

He doesn't like shorts that are above his knees so it's tough ...
Bought these for my son. At 12 years old he is 5'4" with loong legs. He doesn't like shorts that are above his knees so it's tough finding kids shorts that fit in the waist and can accmodate his length. These shorts do that...that hit just at his knees.....not sure how long they will last given his growth spurts but for now they work! he likes the design too. Material is of acceptable quality and for the price, it's good!

Size small would only fit a 5 to 10 year old boy. My son size 14 boys, these r too tight for him!
My 12 year old son normally wears a 14 in boys clothing. I bought these for my boyfriend however, who is usually a M or L and if product runs as small as these fo I doubt even a large would suffice. Description shows MENS size small, so I bought them anyhow thinking they would fit my son or myself for bedtime if nothing else... NOPE! And the return process fo me is not an option because I can not leave my house right now, I didn't call customer service because anyone I do I usually get mad if no one can help me so instead, I'll just wait until I run into someone who has 5 year old little boy🤷♀️

Good fit!
As I would expect from Ed Hardy, the design and quality is very good.The short have a perfect length to them, as my son doesn't like them too long or too short.They just look really great!
