Need rods to repair cylinder head cast iron

iIt all depends on the depth and extent of crack (Note the cylinder head has the highest stresses oni in terms high temperature - therefore high expansion) and high pressure due to the explosive forces of ignition after high compression. If the crack extends into the cylinder walls you may have to weld them ad then mill out the cylinder bores to the correct diameters, otherwise holes in the walls will cause unstable ignition and possible burning or even explosion. IUf the crack is in non cylinder wall, then it should be straight forward.
