Clover Felting Needle Mat Large, polypropylene, Green/Yellow, 1

I bought this about a week ago and today I used it for the first time. It is amazing! I cannot believe the difference between using a felting mat and using a bit of foam. When using foam, my felting needles constantly broke, and the foam would wear out quickly and no longer be useful for anything, sometimes leaving little bits of foam behind that needed to be picked out of the felt. It made everything much more laborious, and not to mention expensive, which felting needles can be when one needs to replace them constantly. Using this felting mat, however, is so different to using a block of foam! There is almost no resistance when using it, so the needles hardly ever break. And while it is true that fibers can get caught between the bristles, that is what the mat cleaner is for; another reviewer recommended the mat cleaner, so I bought it at the same time I bought this, and I am glad that I did so!In all, I would recommend this mat to anyone who does felting, particularly if they have been doing so with a block of foam!

Can't recommend this enough! You really need this, recommend the larger one, as you can do more with it. This is what you need for using the clover moulds, also great for doing larger 'flat' pieces when used with a multi needle tool.

LOVE this! I had needle felted solely on a block of styrofoam since starting and immediately saw a difference in my work once I started using this. Very easy to keep clean, I can usually just go across it with my nails to remove any loose wool that's been caught, but there are tools you can buy that do it as well. If I had to gripe about anything, it's that I wish it didn't move around when using it. Maybe attaching a little sucker to the bottom would help. All around awesome product

Looks good. Great price! I thought for the price it would Have damaged packaging but it was perfect! Came in good time with messages to say it had been posted and who with. Great Seller! Will be checking them out next time I need to restock my craft supplies.

It’s completely as expected, so I’m pleased with the Clover felting mat. It arrived promptly and all is well.I was, however, surprised that it required a signature as it counted as a restricted item... yes, it is used WITH needles, but it is, in fact, a brush/mat!

Like this felting mat/ brush i find it good for doing most of the felting figures but still use other for finishing as I think you can’t get a finished look on this mat I’m looking for one to use alongside this one.

This is a great mat. Nice and big enough surface area for medium details on flat projects. It supports your felt nicely and is just firm enough for the right amount of give. I use it in conjunction with a multi needle tool and am confident to work more quickly knowing I am safe from jabbing myself.

Bought for needle felting. Densely bristled so good quality, sturdy base. Discounted price so worth buying the name brand.
