Works perfectly!
Needed this to replace the older, no longer working/shutting hinges.Our garage door uses this type of self closing hinges to ensure the door closes all the way. Super easy install and easy to set up the tension, great purchase!

Work great at gently closing the door.
These were very easy to install. A single hinge isn’t enough to latch a solid wood exterior door, but it pulls it shut without latching. I didn’t want the spring to be so tight that I have to fight it or worry about a child or dog getting hurt if it shuts on them. The post/mechanism portion of the hinge is larger than the one on the original hinge, so I had to make the mortise cut-outs slightly larger. However, the screw holes were identical, so it didn’t cause any problems. I’ve seen some complaints on self-closing hinges (all brands) that the pin won’t fit in the hole. For some reason, as you tighten the spring, the mechanism moves up in the rod ever-so-slightly, almost unnoticeable, but just enough that the hole is not 100% accessible. I used a hammer and screwdriver to tap it back down and it worked fine. Just gotta be observant and use a little common sense.

These are stable and effective
Used three of these on an exterior door. They close door smoothly at lowest tension setting. I recommend three for a heavy exterior door. There is a removable set pin for these that didn't fully seat on all hinges. It does not negatively impact the function if seated securely. They are slightly bulky, but still look nice on the door.

Arrived all beat up, not an easy fit or worked as expected
The small box with hinges arrived all beat up with hinges and everything else out of the box. Sent in a plastic bag so no surprise there. I’ve had this kind of hinges from a different brand/supplier for 8 years and never had issues until my son slammed the door one day. With this ones, I had a hard time to fit it on door and match the holes and cut out. Still it didn’t sit right but I gave up. Seems there were bent during transit. Also, for my door to close on its own, I had to go to what seems to be the last hole (4 or 5 holes in). I definitely will not be ordering from here again.
