I wanted a lamp which was long enough to go from the corner of my desk over my monitor to the central part, and this can do so. I have found myself liking that it is directly above the desk, as it makes any paper on the desk easier to read. It is also bright enough to (dimly) light the whole room at night. I have docked one star for the controller, since the lamp must be manually turned on each time, as well as the mode (since I normally have this on the warm white mode, it is quite inconvenient to change the mode each time I turn my desk off, especially as the only place the controller can reasonably be mounted is behind my monitor). Other than this though, the lamp does the job well, and if you can place the lamp somewhere where the controller is easily reachable it should not be a problem.

Great lamp for the price!

Love it, wasn't expecting much due to the price but it's amazing. It has 3 light setting and you higher and lower the brightness, you can also twist the light. Great for when it's not so light outside I have this over my laptop in my office.

Very bright and easy to fit.

Very effective and versatile light - on white light at the highest setting it's really quite bright and allows me to work at my home office desk without the need for the room light to be on.One point to note though is that the light bar, despite being led, gets very warm quite quickly - it's not burn your skin hot but it is 'very warm' which I wouldn't expect from led's - on the first day I thought it was because it had been on for several hours but it's also the case after a mere hour or so - other led bulbs in lights I have are still cool to the touch after the same length of use. It doesn't seem to be an issue with function so maybe it's just the way it is.Functionally it's really good - adjustable for position/angle/light colour and brightness.

This is going to be a really good light for the winter. It has a bright light that also appeals to me because it resembles day light.I like the adjustable stand.

Works very well for an easily adjustable lamp - various colour temperatures and brightness settings are all very useful and easy to operate.Despite one of the reviews here saying different - mine doesn't get warm at all, admittedly I am using it at the lowest brightness.
