Easy to understand book of basic maintenance of your 124 .

Before this I was a Haynes manual fan and this is almost as good. the soft back format ma not prove quite as durable but the technical content appears fine for what I have tried so fat

My 1994 E200 - has had a idling and start problem for last few months, the car would not stay running until the engine was warm and the idle RPM was 1200. It was getting to the point that I was thinking of scrapping car as the ICU and ECU replacements would cost a fortune, and from all the infomation I had (including internet, garages and other manuals) the Icu and ECU had to be the problem. Saw this book ordered it to give the car one last chance. The manual has detail on how the ignition system should be set up, my ignition setup was wrong, I reset it as the book describes, took about 15minutes. The car started first time, and idled smoothly at 900RPM which dropped to 750RPM when the engine warmed. I am very happy with the book , it has detail and guidence presented in an understandable and clear way and the level of detail is more appropiate than I have found elsewhere, and it saved my car from the scrap yard.

Brilliant and better companion for the Haynes manual.

Not a bad manual all things considered, and of course it would be unfair to expect complete workshop level details in a book of this size and cost. It does give a good overall run down of the series and how to do various simple bits & bobs, but I found that did confuse the various permutations of the 124 at times, and the drawings could perhaps have been explained a little better. However, miles ahead of the Haynes manual on the 124, which is rather poor indeed. All in all, worthwhile for an owner or enthusiast.

good advice and simple to follow but does not cover all components in particular retractable presenting seatbelts and to the seat belt tensioners specificly fitted to 124 coupes

It help me fixing my old car.

it has all the neccesary information, but some details are left out. there's notihing particular for coupes or convertibles included. also coverage of the m111 engine is limited. good to have, but could be better to have more detailed instructions and schematics

Item was delivered in record time, great condition and full of valueble information, even though my car was involved in a collision accident and totaled I think this Manual is worth saving for the future.
