The original filter is on top in my photo. The fine foam looks very similar and the course foam a bit less open however I've had no problem running the dryer and no filter blocked lights. The fit seems perfect to me with it being perhaps a tiny bit bigger all around. I was more worried about it being too small and letting dust through however this won't be a problem. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Especially given the Miele original part price of over £30 for one. It seems well made with no sign of the two foam parts detaching but I will try and remember to update after the first rinse out.

just changed the filter on my miele dryer, now miele are £35 per filter and now look just like this, my original filter was a different material. they look ok but they were slightly bigger than original it fits and i dont think they're as good as miele. the original filter was alot better but its been in 6years and has started breaking down on the foam. i dont know if its worth the saving?

Proper replica but works a treat. Don’t expect it to last years

As Siegvoll were happy to put their name to it, I reckoned it must be an okay product. I have not been disappointed. I fitted the filter to my Miele heat pump drier at the start of February, and only had to remove it for rinsing at the end of May, after 4 months intensive use. The filters are well made and fit perfectly. I can confidently recommend Siegvoll, especially as the item is a fraction of the price asked by Miele.
