Great package with both games for a good price. Borderlands 2 is a classic already and benefits from the higher frame rate the new consoles can provide. Highly polished graphically and just as slick mechanically.Borderlands 2 is a superb game from start to finish with a decent story, music, combat mechanics and a decent random loot generator.The handsome collection falls down in the PreSequel however... The PreSequel is dreadful. A poorly conceived money-maker that has several flaws. Apart from adding a new type class, there are no new weapons so you are playing the same loot pool from borderlands 2. The environments are bland places you don't want to be and the voice acting is highly questionable. This game is worth playing through once for the story or if you're OCD drives you to squeeze every achievement from your purchase but apart from that the PreSequel has nothing to offer a fan of Birderlands 2.I stick with 5 stars because Borderlands 2 is such a phenomenal remastered work but be aware the '2 games in 1' is an overstatement.

I was hooked when the first one came out, and also the second ( preferred the first though)Never played the Pre Sequel so looked forward to it.Borderlands 2 looks good and runs smooth, apart from the once I had to restart because of the frame rate, " nothing to cry over "The Pre Sequel looks just as good, but the frame rate isn't great, drops alot, but it's nothing major. I've played it for around 20 hours so far and it hasn't bothered me, but I'm sure there'll be an update out soon to sort it.Overall both games are great value for money with " ALOT " of added DLC packs in the games.

Classic Borderlands humour packed into 2 amazing games with all the DLC that you may have missed in the original version. I love everything about the Borderlands franchise. Talking/Screaming guns, crazy missions, lots of foes to defeat and plenty of missions/side quests to keep you occupied. Plus when you finish it, you get to play it all over again this time as a Badass with more loot and harder enemies. You also get to go to the moon, find hidden dark secrets, run into electric fences at the request of Claptrap and bond with companions... what more could you ask for.Both games are suitable for Single Player or Multiplayer. Personally I prefer to play it single player. I spent hours playing multiplayer on the original version. Made a few decent friends that didn't loot hoard, rush through missions or constantly try to leave an area, but those players seem very rare lately. Be prepared for loot grabs and players who don't understand a simple mission like 'don't shoot this guy' if you do play online. Not the games fault, that's just gamer etiquette. Luckily they included our favourite 'Kick Player' player tab for those nuisance players.The only downsides are it doesn't include Borderlands 1 and you need a day and a half to install and update (I believe the pre-sequels update was the largest at 19GB) but what game doesn't take at least a day to install nowadays?

The game took over my life for a few months when it was released on Xbox 360, I honestly didn't think I would play it again. This package though with the DLC and Pre sequel for the Xbox 1 is a steal. Having become tired of Destiny I loaded this up and it was like an old friend appearing, it's hard to see much difference until you realise the terrible frame drops have gone away and the visible stutter when the screen fills up with mayhem. It's still the best shoot n loot game ever for mine and this smoother set is worth the money. If you haven't played it before and like character development, weapon upgrades and skill trees aplenty this is the game for you, the cartoon style graphics are quirky but fun once you leave the serious games behind, the writing, story and black humour are simply brilliant. My advice is buy it

Excellent game!! Would highly recommend just purely because you get ALL of the up to date DLC's with the game, if these were bought individually it would cost around £80/£90. But besides that, the game itself has a well thought out story line, added with the amazing artwork throughout the game just makes this a must buy for anyone but a warning is that this is a highly addictive game where you will not be able to put down the controller until you've completed every last little bit of it but that is the main reason I buy these sorts of games.

What is there to say that isn't obvious? Both games are much smoother, load times are much faster and as far as I can tell, the games run at 60 frames per second. Overall very impressed, would recommend to any fan of the series. Oh, and all achievements can be earned again, and Borderlands 2 comes with all cosmetic packs for every character too, and includes the raid on digistruct peak, which for some reason I was not expecting. Get on it!

Picked this up mainly for the Pre-sequel as I didn't get to play it, everything seemed fine when I booted it up but as I continued I noticed the framrate kept dropping in firefights and screen tearing was everywhere, stopped playing as it was hurting the experience (I'll go back when they hopefully fix it). Borderlands 2 play's almost perfectly with just a few frame drops here and there (no screen tearing in sight). As a whole the package is great as you get 2 full games and a ton of dlc, also this has 4 player split screen which is very impressive but I haven't tried it out. I would give it's 4 - 5 stars if the pre-sequel wasn't plagued with problems.

Je donne mon avis sur l'édition Borderlands : the handsome collection [import anglais], acheté chez le vendeur GeekstoredotcomAlors oui, la pochette, le disque et le "manuel" (qui n'en est pas vraiment un, c'est juste un livret 6 pages avec les conditions générales) sont bien en anglais (voir photos), issu de la version UK mais une fois dans votre console, le jeu prendra la langue du système. Donc si vous avez une Xbox One en français, le jeu sera INTEGRALEMENT en français (textes et voix)Vous pouvez donc l'achetez en import sans aucun risque. (un ami l'a pris en import Allemand : le jeu passe également en français)Il faut parfois se méfier des versions UK car toutes n'ont pas la langue FR, même si votre console l'est.Avec Ubisoft par exemple, vous pouvez être sur que 90% de leurs jeux vendus en Angleterre ne seront QUE en anglais. C'est ridicule mais bon, l'éditeur est le seul responsable.Pour ce qui est du jeu, est-il encore nécessaire de parler de cette pépite qu'est Borderlands ? (que ce soit le premier opus, Borderlands 2 ou PreSequel)Si vous voulez un vrai FPS "Shooter-Looter" avec un humour bien décalé, une VF au petit oignons, une tonne de contenus (TOUS les DLC sont fournis dans cette édition Handsome et croyez moi, il y a de quoi passer quelques nuits blanches avant d'en voir le bout !), la possibilité de jouer l'intégralité de l'histoire à quatre, que ce soit en ligne ou en local (écran divisé en 4 mais attention, il faudra un grand écran malgré tout pour que cela soit agréable) MAIS AUSSI la possibilité de jouer ENTIEREMENT seul, sans connexion internet obligatoire, ce qui devient rare avec les jeux actuels ET qui plus est à ce jour (3 avril 2019) : la possibilité de télécharger un pack de textures 4K HDR afin de profiter du jeu de manière optimale sur un écran de ce type. (vous avez le choix de télécharger ou non ce pack de textures. Si vous n'avez pas d'écran 4K, rien ne vous oblige donc à ajouter 7 Go sur votre disque dur, ce à quoi ne pense pas tous les éditeurs… malheureusement)En plus de cela, vous avez également Borderlands The Pré-Sequel inclus !Autant dire, des dizaines d'heures de jeux, seul ou entre amis, comme bon vous semble.Et tout ça pour une poignée d'Euro… là où certains jeux (Anthem, pour ne pas le citer) osent demander 3x plus, pour un contenu rachitique.Bref, si le style Cell Shading ne vous dérange pas et que vous aimez les FPS : foncez, vous ne le regretterez pas !

¿Qué puede haber mejor que un juego de Borderlands? Dos juegos de Borderlands. Si te gustan los juegos de tiros en primera persona, con un poco de personalización de habilidades, en los que puedes coseguir armas de los enemigos y que tiene bastante humor socarrón, compra tremendamente recomendada. Una volta inserito il disco nella console ed installato, i giochi partono subito in ITALIANO e non c'e' da fare niente di strano!Se la Saga di Borderlands e' la vostra saga videoludica preferita allora questo e' un affare da non perdere!
