Perfect gardening shoes
I find these shoes sturdy, comfortable and waterproof. They are easy to slip on and off and my chosen size 8 fitted perfectly. This is my second purchase - the first pair are still going strong but I have 2 gardens and it's handy to have a pair for both. Delivery was fast and the price is very good.

Fantastic gardening shoes at price
Fantastic shoes for the garden, key highlights: - they stay in place due to the back side - they can be left outside and get wet and seem fine after wards so far - the materials feel hardy - the grip at the bottom is fantastic - comfortable I would say the backside is fiddly to put on at times. Could be better if strapped or Velcroed to take off and on easily

Fantastic gardening shoes
Fantastic value for money. Dunlop is a good company and I would expect to pay more usually. Shoes are comfortable, they were a little loose but with my thick allotment socks they are fine. I especially find the sole good as it's thick enough to keep the cold out and your foot isn't completely flat on the ground , shoes ir wellies with flat soles hurt my feet after awhile. Very pleased that I got some for my Husband too.

Excellent for the price and do the job if you don't mind the lack of style.
My main concern when looking for suitable footwear for my allotment was their resilience to frequent spadework. Being waterproof and not collecting soil underfoot were also important. These shoes have a strong rubber sole and heel and seem likely to last for a while without being ripped up by the top of the spade. I am writing this in May 2017 and will repost when I have to replace them. Be careful to place your foot on the spade with the sole or the heel and not the mid-part, you can feel it! I have bought work safety boots before thinking that the steel plate in the sole will add to its longevity. It doesn't, the steel plate breaks eventually. I get the feeling these shoes will last longer. They are definitely waterproof as they are like cut-off wellies. About as stylish too! As far as collecting soil, I have not had them long enough to find out. They are very lightweight so I don't expect a problem. Many reviews comment on the size of the shoe and I was worried about this when I ordered them. They do not come in half sizes. I am a 9.5 so I ordered a 9 because many of the reviews indicated they are on the large side. The shows fit me comfortably and stay on well, I think a half size lower (if they did them) would be more snug. For the price they do an excellent job and if they stand the test of time I expect to order them again. Update: It is now three years since I wrote this review and I have been using these shoes regularly on my allotment, including regular spadework. They are still as good as new with no signs of wear and tear. They do collect mud, but I leave them in the shed and bang them together next time I use them which gets rid of most of it. They are so comfortable, I forget I'm wearing them until I get onto the pavement and as for spadework, I no longer have to think about how I place my foot on the spade anymore, I automatically use the heel. Like my favourite gardening gloves, these are a keeper for me. When they wear out I will buy a new identical pair. No need to look for anything else.

Dry feet.
This purchase was perfect for their intended use in the garden and pottering about outside.-- not all that comfortable but keeps feet dry and muck out of the house. Easier to put on with the aid of a shoehorn .
