Higgins 44314 2 oz Calligraphy Waterproof Ink, Black

Just tried some sampling of it and it seems a pretty nice ink. Dries in a minute or so on decent cartridge paper and is then fairly waterproof. After a few more minutes it is waterproof so doesn't give you much time to work with for sketching. Will have to try it on Bristol board sometime, it has a shinier surface and make give more working time to wet with a brush. Very pleased with it otherwise and it comes at a very reasonable cost.

Writes beautifully, very dark black and so far has been fountain pen friendly. I’ve found it difficult to find an ink ok for fountain pens and waterproof - this is brilliant, plus a very reasonable price too. Very happy with my purchase and adding to my subscribe list.

Good solid black writing; flows well once it is started and doesn't clog the pen as long as you close the cap immediately every time. Well worth the money if you need professional, indelible writing.

The ink is not suitable to use with modern calligraphy nibs - it is very watery and dries into a grey stain.

It is a black ink that actually dries to a dark grey and it doesn't stand out as well as a proper black. It is waterproof I have put watercolours on the top.

La he comprado para rellenar mi pincel Pentel y resultó muy buena, su resistencia al agua la hace excelente para técnica de acuarela, y se hace permanente sobre el Linoleo para trazar más fácilmente para hacer mis grabados, ADVERTENCIA, no la usen en plumas fuente, porque se seca dentro del sistema, la metí en una Jinhao como prueba y dio mal resultado, pero para dibujo con pincel es de lo mejor.

This ink is for dip pens and brushes, not fountain pens. I ordered them for fountain pens due to incorrect product details.

Una de las mejores tintas comerciales para caligrafía. Rinde bastante y da muy buenos resultados.
