10 x Philips 58w - 5ft (1524mm) T8 Fluorescent tubes - Colour 840 - Cool White

This 58 watts tubes are very bright 5400 lumins day light and tubes are flicker free. Very good value for money 10 tubes of 5 foot long . I would highly recommend this tubes they work out 4 pounds for each tubes. Delivered in fantastic safe box wrapped up perfectly.

Great to get 10 tubes for this sort of price. Actually, 2 tubes broken in transit but not an easy thing to pack and get through delivery process, so I am not complaining. As it happened, I needed 8, so thanks! 👍

For all you out there who are confused about this price for TEN tubes, when there are SINGLE tubes out there costing more, I can verify that this price buys you ten of these tubes. Yes, I was sceptical too. I have a single, recently-installed, lighting unit that takes these tubes. Looking around I saw prices ranging from £16 to £36 for a single tube. Then I found these. I read the listing for the catch, and there didn't seem to be one. They are not the same brand as the one I had (which did very well), but it's a name I recognise and having checked all the details matched with mine, I held my breath and bought. To be brutally honest I expected a glitch somewhere. "Out of stock, would you like to buy this different set for more money?" or some such nonsense. Or perhaps the light they gave out wouldn't match up to the previous one. Perhaps A listing details was wrong and I had ordered 5-in tubes instead of 5ft tubes? For once I was very pleasantly surprised. They arrived three days later, well-packaged, Correct brand, correct number, correct size, correct details had been listed - perfect. Son fitted the tube in about 5 minutes. Switched on, and my kitchen was no longer like the Black Hole of Calcutta. The quality of light is in no way inferior to the tube I had which lasted almost two years. Given that I am now only three months into using tube number one of this pack, I can't know how long it will last, but even if I get only six months from each tube, I won't need to buy more any time soon. I'm more than happy with the purchase - ten tubes for less than the price of some singles, and with no hitches, glitches or 'would-you-like-to-switch'-es. I suppose an appropriate descriptor would be "Brilliant". Cheers, Amazon, and thanks to the seller - great deal and well pleased customer. UPDATE - It is New Year's Eve 2020 as I write this short update, and I am currently using Tube Number Two of this pack. Also, we NEVER turn off our kitchen light. A great buy! And for the sceptics out there, I have not been paid or otherwise gained any benefit from this review or its update. FURTHER UPDATE: 2022 is less than three weeks away. I am still running Tube #2 and ot is still good and bright with no twiddling of starters needed yet. Good stuff! FURTHER FURTHER UPDATE - Captain Slog, star date 3rd August 2024. We are still using tube no. 3 of our 10-tube pack. Updates on this product will now cease; I think you get the picture :)

bought these light's and was a bit worried how big the box would be. but was surprised it was'nt too big to store away. the box was, 5+3quarter ins. x 4" x about 5' 2" high. each light is encased in it's own cardboard tube also. the light is nice and bright. good price, well packed and was delivered early. and don't forget to insert a new starting motor with each new bulb you put in. the starting motor's i got for these light's are FS-U.

Edit 3 years on. I can confirm I have had no problems with these bulbs and I believe I am still using bulb number one!! At this rate I shall never need purchase more 😊 After trying three major outlets with no success I turned to Amazon. I didn't want to be without a light in the kitchen for too long for safety reasons. I found these, exactly what I wanted, ok I didn't need ten but I now have plenty of spares. They work well, arrived next day (I ordered after work hours so don't count first day). Very happy with purchase would buy again however with nine spare I will probably never have too! Great price at less than £3 each. Would recommend and would buy from this seller again.

After having buying these I looked on amazon and found what i wanted a very reasonable price

Was worried that I needed 4 tubes so ordering 10 would mean that I would need to store 6 tubes somewhere safe, somewhere they'll not get bashed or trampled on. Alternative was to get in the car and drive to the B&Q... glad I didn't. Packaging was of the tubes was excellent, this meant that I could cut the top of the packaging and take out 4 tubes and tape the cut portion back up. This will mean that when I do need the tubes again in a few months they'll still be working. The white glow of the tubes is great as over the years we've had different, off white tubes and these have made the kitchen look not as bright. Especially in the darker months. Very good all round experience.

A la livraison 4 étaient cassées sur les 10 , honteux

sur10 tubes 3 ont une douille de cassée donc non utilisable et 2 ont grillés au premier allumage
