In my opinion it’s just a show piece.

Can anyone tell me the length of this kit please

With the tender it is 46 cm or 18 inches. This is a very difficult kit to make as the wheels and the rods which are connected to the wheels are very fiddly to fit. I eventually bought a Riverossi ready to run big boy.

What colour of paints are required/recommended?

You can get away with just silver / aluminium if you're not fussy about the cab interior, or bell
