Perfect for my needs

Fits my 1TB WD Elements, despite what the packaging says.The case is soft and flexible, and stores the stock cable and drive comfortably and safely. I don't think it would protect it suitably from drops, however for transportation it's very helpful.I was unable to store my AmazonBasics USB Cable which is 3 feet long, unsuprisingly.The zip opens half of the case out so you can easily slide in the drive, for fast and convenient storage.The packaging consisted of a cardboard holder telling me what I bought, fastened by a cable tie. Whilst cutting that off was kinda inconvenient overall the minimal packaging was good.Overall, a great value price!

I bought this to go along with a new 4TB WD My Passport external drive that I have received. I wasn't sure wether a soft or hard case would be best, when I stumbled upon this soft case for £3.50 the cost was so low that if it wasn't what I was looking for, no harm done.It fits perfectly, the case is really snug and tight but still easy to zip open and close. It's quite thick, enough so that I wouldn't worry about scratching the device through the material when putting it loose into a bag, which I have experienced before.As for drop protection, I'm pretty confident it would protect the drive inside from a standard height drop onto a concrete floor and that no chips/scratches or damage would be sustained, however I wouldn't want to do a throw test!

I purchased this case as part of an add-on deal when I bought a Western Digital 1TB portable hard drive. It seems to fit the bill well and does everything I need it to. As this is a soft case, I think it would be best utilised for stay at home storage, or perhaps kept within a laptop bag or similar for extra protection if intending to take it out and about.Best Uses : To keep your Western Digital portable hard drive dust and scratch free.Pros : Excellent value. Exactly what I wanted and brilliant quality delivered fast.Dissapointing that my WD My Passport 1TB HDD didn't come with a case, so wanted to purchase one separate and didn't want to spend much and definitely didn't want a huge bulky ugly hard case.The case is well made and looks great with some nice subtle branding and a solid zip. There is a small internal sleeve to store the cable and it all fits perfectly. All for less than £5.Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want a tough hard bulky big case, then buy something else. Want to keep the dust, scratches and offer a nice cushion of protection then this is the only option.

Small, neat and entirely fit for purpose. A recognised brand that to date has not let me down. There may be cheaper or faster drives out there, but functionality and reliability are just as, if not more important. Great product.

I bought this product for a WD Elements portable hard drive. This was my mistake and was no way Amazon's or WD's. The hard drive fits but is a bit snug. The case is of good quality and is good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bit more protection of their portable external hard drive

This case is perfect to carry my WD 1TB My Passport 2 as i am a student and use this in order to carry the drive and also the proprietary cable that portable hard drives use. if you are someone who thinks your drive will get bashed about then i would not recommend this case for you and you should look into the other hard 2.5 inch drive cases available. The packaging is simple and comes in a plastic bag with the WD branding attached to the case and on first appearance the case is strong and well built.
