Great for Yoga Teachers
I bought this for a CPD course I am doing at the moment. It is a great companion to the other book in the series (the key muscles of yoga) as a reference. Lots of anatomical terms and Latin names but with the diagrams this information becomes more easy to process.I bought on kindle, and read it on my iPad where the images were still great. However I probably wouldn’t read on a normal kindle.

Superb book - a joy to read. Doesn't seem like studying at all!
Beautiful book. Highly readable. After purchasing this book as a required test for a course, I purchased Volume 1 that was not on the required reading list. Both books are totally engrossing. The illustrations are excellent and the text is easy to follow. I am reading both books out of interest and not because they are needed for my course. I have no previous knowledge of anatomy and find these books enlightening and incredibly informative.

An amazing tool to have in your box.
I have been practicing yoga asana for several years, yet confess to not knowing that much about the body and how it works. This book has changed all that in an instant and, as I am one of those people who learns easily when learning visually, it has been an invaluable aid in helping me to understand what is happening during each posture and therefore, in what areas i need to apply additional focus and breath, in order to deepen my practice. The book has added yet another angle of enjoyment to my favourite part of each day.

Well put together though not a book for beginners
I purchased this book back in 2014 with the intention of beginning yoga. I'm yet to start yoga but I'm more focused on starting yoga soon. This book I would say is more suited to anyone wanting to get a better understanding of human anatomy in relation to yoga poses. It isn't a beginners book and I realise that I need to get hold of a beginners book to help to get myself started. This is a book that I will come back to. It's well put together and the images are of high quality.

All those things I learnt in my Iyengar classes 30 years ago now make perfect sense. I wish I had had this book ...
Being an Osteopath and having practiced yoga for over 30 years I found this book absolutely fascinating. All those things I learnt in my Iyengar classes 30 years ago now make perfect sense. I wish I had had this book both when I was training as a yoga teacher and when I training as an Osteopath. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in the musculo-skeletal system.

Awesome book! Buy it!
I can't say enough good things about this book. Everything is clearly explained and the illustrations are great. Good for anyone just interested in human anatomy, let alone yoga poses. I intend to buy the rest of this series of books based on this purchase.
