We are a family of four living in a four bedroom, well- insulated house with double glazing and loft insulation. This winter, and last, we have been using these heaters to heat individual rooms according to who’s in and who’s out especially during the day. Can’t give specific figures ( my husband does all that kind of stuff ) but with confidence I can say that using these, to heat one or a few rooms, works out much cheaper than using central heating ( why heat the whole house if you’re mainly using just one or two rooms??!) They must have been a faulty batch since each of them broke ie stopped working, over a period of a few months. These, on the other hand, are working fine. And I now have three altogether. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

Hi, this is probably one the least effective heaters. When first turned on for few days it was good. Then after keeping it turned on for more than 2 hours at a time it started to melt its own own. The plastic melted from top and drops into the lights. First the bottom light went off and after few days too light stop working due more plastic melting drops land on it. This is actually really safety concern because it can lead it burning it self middle of night. Not recommended

I have the Dyson heater, stunning piece of equipment but unfortunately way too expensive to run. As I only need a heater that is energy efficient for added warmth I thought I would give this one a try after reading one of the reviews that it only costs around 11p an hour on one bar. So happy with my purchase. I take it from room to room and it gives the right amount of warmth I need. Would definitely recommend for small rooms. It was a good price and will probably purchase another one. To summarise, if you don't want to put the central heating on, this does the job. I don't keep it on all day just an hour or less depending on the room I'm using. For reference, I live in a small apartment,so perfect for my needs.

Certainly gives out heat, you need to be pretty close to feel it though. It did raise the temp in the room a couple of degrees after an hour, but it's more for personal use really.On my present tariff, it costs 8p an hour using one bar, certainly cheaper than my fan heater, although I've had trouble free years with that. Have to see how this holds up after time.Good price for what it is, so wouldn't be much of an outlay if you need to replace it. I'll probably get a couple more bars as spares for it, seem cheap enough.

Brilliant value for money.Small but packs a punch with the heat. Very impressed with this little fire, super value for money

Works as it should, heat’s room fine apparently BUT the cord is very short. It says not to plug it into an extension lead, but if u have no choice but to have furniture in front of sockets in a small room like I do, it’s pointless. There’s no way I can use it in living room where I was planning as the cord won’t go around the furniture. Gave it to daughter who says it’s fine but beware if you don’t have clear easy access to sockets!

Good quality and excellent value for money

DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I used the heater twice for approximately 2 hours and now it doesn’t work. The seller is being extremely awkward and unhelpful with my request to return it and get a refund. They offered to send me new bars to replace the ones already in the heater even though I had only used it twice and them not exactly what the fault is. I’m still waiting to return it as they need to post me a label for return. It has taken almost a week to get this far
