Brilliant buy
Bought this a while ago, but haven't used until now. I have to be honest, I was a bit wary because of some of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised.Very easy to pitch, took two of us about 20 minutes. Very roomy, for two, maybe three people, five people I think would be a bit of a crush. Within 24 hours we had hail, hard winds, rain and thunder, and there were no problems. We did have a small leak, by one of the air beams, but we discovered this was our fault.Love the inner tent in the bedroom, and the awning, which gave us extra living space - we did have to take this down on our last night because the wind was just too much, we were literally on top of a hill in Scotland, but this was only a safety precaution. We're over the moon with this tent and would highly recommend.

Excellent 5 man tent
This has to be the best 5 man tent I have bought or used. I purchased this size as it was a replacement for my old Vango Icarus 500 so I was able to use the footprint and carpet, having just come back from a long weekend away I have to say I was very impressed it held up well to strong winds and gust of 20-25 the tent kept it shape and that was without using the TBS straps the canopy took a beating but the poles flexed enough, would of been better to of rolled it up but with my kitchen set up underneath it and heavy rain I just kept an eye on them, It is very easy to pitch about 15 minutes with a footprint and all the guide ropes in place, found it to be fully waterproof with one night of heavy rain and early morning showers and although the ground sheet is not sown in the floor stayed dry. The bag is large enough the get the tent packed up but make sure you use the pump (without pressure gauge fitted) to remove all the air from the 3 beams first. Very impressed and cannot wait to get more use out of it. Recommended

Lacking expected features but good tent
The adverts suggest that this tent comes with a sewn in ground sheet, be aware that only the ground sheet in the bedrooms are sewn in, the living area is not (we ended up buying some velcro to secure the groundsheet. Also the advert mentions a blackout bedroom but, again this is not 100 accurate, light still enters the bedroom as the blackout material is not especially opaque. If you compare the darkness of the bedrooms in this tent to the Coleman equivalent there is a marked difference with the Coleman being almost pitch black. That said, the tent goes up very easily and quickly and is of a good size for two adults and a youngster with travel cot etc etc. Comes down just as quickly and for once a tent can be put back into its bag without too much of a struggle. In short, bearing in mind the two criticisms above, if you need a tent that can easily be put up by one person then this is a good buy for the money as other airbeam tents of this size are far more expensive.

Great tent, but appalling customer service from Amazon
Bought this tent in April and was very expressed with the quality and ease of use, erected in 10 minutes. On our 2nd trip using it one of the panels tore as I was putting it up. Got in touch with Amazon who refused to honor the warranty that they knowingly purchase from manufacturer but refused to pass it on to customer. And very rude on their online chat. Managed to get it sorted by the manufacturer but no excuses for Amazon, NOT GOOD ENOUGH from such a big company.

Fast to put up
I like the speed it goes up, the size with the added porch. , stould through a lot of wind ansrain and the only wet bits were from a door that was open and a bit of condensation. well worth the money , and I recommend.

Four Stars
Very good price but still under test,I purchased this tent in sept 2017 but only used it to test for 2 days. In the 2 days it rained but not heavy rain and water came into the tent but went under the ground sheet and back out again. At first I did not know where it was coming from but after a good examination I found it was coming from the seam between the ground sheet skirt and the tent wall. When I got home I contacted Vango in Scotland and was told that this seam was not taped in manufacture so did not contact amazon. I then over the weeks have purchased 8 roles of McNETT tenacious tape at a cost of £48 from amazon to tape this seam and also 14 pegging out points where I think most of the water came from. Most people would have sent it back but I got it for a very good price and it is to late now anyway. So if you are thinking of buying this tent just check out the 14 pegging out points that should be taped, that's one behind each air beam one on each corner, two at the back and two front. This took a few hours to tape, I cut the tape into 3/4 inch strips to give me 2mtrs per roll of tape. Hope this does the trick but good weather would be better.David.
