More charming bookmarks from Dover
These are more charming bookmarks from the Dover series and they are very nice indeed. They are about 2"x6", printed on heavy coated stock, and neatly and easily separate from the perforated pages. The colors are good and the bird portraits are very appealing. The back of each bookmark has information about the bird; it describes the birdcall, the North American range, the habitat, and diet. The bird portraits include the red breasted nuthatch, goldfinch, red-winged blackbird, male cardinal, white-breasted nuthatch, male downy woodpecker, dark-eyed junco, Carolina wren, English sparrow, house finch, black-capped chickadee, and the bluejay. These will make a nice little add-on gift when you give a book to someone or they will make a nice little gift for yourself.

Inexpensive and pretty
I like these as inexpensive gifts for friends. Easy to separate the bookmarks and enclose one with a birthday or holiday card -- without adding extra shipping cost.Though these are inexpensive, I find my friends really do like the surprise of getting a bookmark as a gift.

Good variety of different birds
Pretty book. Having the type of bird on the bookmarks is helpful. It seems like this little book could be a great gift or great gifts if you separate the bookmarks yourself. The book seems good enough to keep in one piece if desired, but it also seems like it would relatively simple to take out the bookmarks or keep some in the book and others out of the book.

Very Pretty
Cute little bookmarks. They work great for paperbacks. I bought these to give away in Christmas cards to fellow members of a book group. After I tore them out of the booklet I just trimmed the edges to make them smooth.

Cute and cheap!
These bookmarks were a good gift for my grandmother who loves to read. They are very cute bookmarks and provide a good amount of information on each bird.

I keep leaving bookmarks in books...I love coming across these
I have fancy book marks and shoddy ones from my son's grade school days. Sometimes a stray ripped piece of paper or tissue. I hate dog-ears. So I keep some of these bookmarks around the house and when I put a book down, I have a ready book mark. They're not just convenient either: whenever I run across them in this slapdash manner, I reread about the birds and enjoy the picture again. I haven't used them as gifts but they are an excellent choice for the young reader in your life.

Very durable
I ordered quite a few of these $1.99 bookmarks and I found them all really colorful and pretty I can't remember if it was discipline or not I think it is but when they came they were kind of buckled not wrinkled but buckled like wavy! They're very durable cuz it didn't seem to make a difference I just used them anyways and they seem to straighten out okay I could have probably straightened about faster if I just put a bunch of books on it but I just tore them out and I just put them in between the pages and and they they're straightening out
